Blair I’m tired of existing to please my parents. It’s time to grow a spine, leave everyone and everything behind, and forge a new life for myself. Buying a mountain homestead is the perfect solution. I’m done being the heiress to my family’s empire, and I’m not interested in getting married in order to merge the two largest pharmaceutical companies in the country. No, thank you.
Adrian Blair is a hot mess. Did she seriously think she was going to move into the dilapidated house on the adjacent property? It’s not safe to enter, let alone live in. Thank goodness she’s not inside when the entire structure collapses in a storm, but now she’s staying in my cabin, and she needs a husband. It’s not a bad idea. After all, the connection I feel toward her is strong. Why not marry her?

ARC REVIEW Book: Adrian Author: Becca Jameson https://books.beccajameson.com/obufj5... Well… I feel like I start almost every review of Becca Jameson's books the same way these days, but what can I say? I'm a fan! And yes, she has done it again with Adrian.
I absolutely love the Gallant Mountain world that Becca Jameson and Lyn Thomas have created together. There is something special about this series—the mountain setting, the Gallant family, the protective brothers, and of course watching each of them find the person they are meant to spend their life with. This time, it's Adrian's turn.
Blair desperately wants to escape the expectations and control of her wealthy family and finally start living life on her own terms. Buying a secluded mountain property seems like the perfect way to begin her new, independent life. Unfortunately, buying a house sight turns out to be a slightly bigger adventure than she planned—the place is practically falling apart!
Adrian immediately sees how dangerous the house is and tries to convince Blair that she can't stay there, but Blair is determined to prove she can take care of herself. It takes a terrible storm and the house literally collapsing around her before circumstances finally bring her into the Gallant family's world.
And from there… well, this is Gallant Mountain. When a Gallant man knows, he knows!
The chemistry between Adrian and Blair is there from the beginning, and I really enjoyed their dynamic. Adrian is protective and determined without taking away Blair's independence, while Blair slowly finds the confidence to stand up for herself and decide what she wants from her life instead of allowing her family to make those decisions for her.
Their marriage arrangement adds another fun layer to the story, especially when something that begins as a practical solution starts becoming very real emotionally.
One of my favorite moments was seeing Blair finally stand up to her parents. After everything they expected from her and the way they tried to control her future, watching her find her voice was incredibly satisfying. And, as always, the Gallant brothers prove that when one of their own needs them, the entire family stands together.
Adrian is another sweet, romantic, sexy, and wonderfully entertaining addition to the Gallant Mountain series. It's a quick read with plenty of chemistry, family loyalty, drama, and that special Gallant Mountain magic I've come to love.
Becca, you've done it again! Thank you so much for allowing me to read Adrian as an ARC. I loved returning to Gallant Mountain, and I'm already looking forward to seeing whose love story comes next.
I received an advanced copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Adrian continues the fun Jameson is having with instalove stories. This time our hero is Adrian, who discovers that someone has bought the decrepit former home of Hannah and Rebekah (heroines of earlier books in this Gallant Mountain series) sight unseen, not realizing it’s not really habitable. And he’s proven right when Blair’s new home collapses in a massive storm, leading her to shelter with Adrian.
I struggled with Blair based on her actions at the start of this book. She’s supposed to be this smart, capable woman (heck, Adrian keeps saying that) who's helping run a billion-dollar family business, but she buys a place without checking it out, knowing it's a fixer-upper, yet expects to live in it immediately. And she deliberately states that she wants to live off the grid, but somehow expects to Google all the information she needs on how to live that way?? I mean, if you’re off the grid…. She came across as obtuse to me, so Adrian’s statements of how smart she is fell on deaf ears.
These books are fun to read, as folks get married after knowing one another for about a day (I always wonder how their marriage licenses work). And Jameson knows what she’s doing to build a fun, sensual story with this couple, particularly in the source of their tension and drama. But the heroine didn’t work for me. I’d say this is a three-and-a-half star read rounded up to 4 due to the surety of Jameson’s writing.
I absolutely love the Gallant Mountain series and ADRIAN was another quick, easy and enjoyable read!
Blair is ready to break free from her controlling family and start over, but moving into a rundown mountain homestead doesn't go quite as planned. When Adrian steps in to help her, the chemistry between them is impossible to ignore. Their marriage arrangement makes perfect sense, even if the feelings growing between them are anything but simple.
This was such a sweet and sexy romance with great chemistry, caring characters and just the right amount of drama. Adrian was protective without being overbearing and loved watching Blair find her strength and begin to live life on her own terms.
ADRIAN is a lovely addition to a series I already adore, I’m giving it the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval, TBR and Enjoy.
The Gallant brothers are a decisive, quick acting bunch. They're either all in or they're out. Blair was fed up with her family's manipulations and expectations. She chose to walk away. The problem? She really didn't know what she's gotten herself into. Adrian carefully points out the folly of her ways but she's stubborn. So showing up at his place during a torrential rain is no surprise to him. He knows she's his one. She knows she wants other people to quit making decisions and trying to run her life for her. He gives her that space and so much more but his insistence on priorities gives her pause when it comes to his proposal. But not for long. She's suddenly all in and couldn't be happier. The Gallant clan increases in size again.
This is the first book in the Gallant Mountain series that I've read and while it is a standalone, with it's own HEA, the characters from the previous books feature quite heavily. It didn't impact my enjoyment, but it did kind of feel like everyone else knows something that you don't at times. Overall I enjoyed this story, although it was touch and go at times, particularly the fist half of the story. Adrian had Daddy Dom stamped all over him, right from the start, and Blair was nothing but argumentative and difficult, which is not a dynamic I generally enjoy. However, once the relationship moved on from that I enjoyed it much more. Although I did kind of feel like their were unanswered questions about Blairs' parents.
Blair has bought a cabin in the mountains in hope of getting away from her parents and living her own life off grid. Well things don't go as planned the cabin she bought is run down and literally falling apart around her. Adrian has seen her and tries to tell her she can't stay there it's too dangerous but, she doesn't listen and in the middle of a storm the house falls down. As she makes her way to Adrian's, she almost doesn't make it. Adrian has convinced her to stay and marry him to help keep her parents from getting their way and marrying her off to someone they think is suitable and will help the business. Great characters and an instant connection.
I volunteered to read and review an advanced copy of Adrian . I really enjoyed reading Adrian . This story is entertaining and a fantastic insta-love romance . The Gallant men live on Gallant Mountain where they chose to have privacy from the public . Adrian Gallant meets Blair when she buys his sister-in-law's property next to his family's. Blair an heiress tired of the expectations of family and the wealthy life leaves her life and moves to the mountains for a fresh start unfortunately she in for a big unexpected surprise . This story is smoking hot and wonderful . I highly recommend taking the time to read .
Adrian and Blair are quite the pair. Blair is sick of her upper class lifestyle that comes with obligations and expectations that she has no desire to participate in. So she buys a property sight unseen and shows up intending to live a simple life on the mountain. The property she purchased adjoins the Gallant property and Adrian is surprised someone is there. He tries to warn Blair that the cottage isn’t livable but she’s determined. Long story short, he’s right! Blair turns to Adrian for help after finding out the hard way that she can’t live there. Love, marriage, breeding and a great story are what you will find in this book.
Blair is from a very wealthy family and she was at the end of her rope. She was being forced to marry a man she did not like so the two families could merge. Well she had had enough of that and sold her condo and bought a house in the mountains. It just happens that the Gallants lived next door because she bought Rebekah old house. The day she arrived and finally looked at the house she knew she was going to build a new house. Adrian happened to come by and warned her the house was not safe and would collapse with a good wind. Enjoy this beautiful story.
This Gallant Mountain story was just as great as the others. When Blair comes to the mountains buying a house sight unseen, intending to start fresh, she meets Adrian, who is appalled that she means to move into the dangerous falling down house. Dial in one bad storm, strong winds, falling limbs and Blair ends up in the Gallant Mountain compound. Blair and Adrian's chemistry had been instant and add in bad weather, the drama Blair is trying to escape from and you have a quick intense romance. Of course the Gallant brothers always stand together and protect their own. Does Gallant Mountain have a magic atmosphere?
Love the Gallant brothers! It’s time for Adrian to settle down. Meeting Blair, a headstrong, independent woman who is tired of the manipulation of her family. Some pour decisions lead Blair in a precarious situation and it’s Adrian to the rescue. Not sure if its sparks or annoyance that puts them on a path to help each other.
Blair buys the house next property from Adrian's sister in law. its unlivable so Adrian invites her to stay with him at his house . We get to know blair and her background and we also see Adrian and Blair get closer and in love I enjoyed this story and the series
Fantastic Read! This story flowed so beautifully. From the rapid visualizations of the storm to the hot verbiage between Adrian and Blair. It was insta love to its highest power and I enjoyed it the whole way.
Blair definitely needed to get out of her current situation. I guess mother nature was also playing a role in her relationship with Adrian when she caused her house to collapse. Also, seeing her interact with her parents at the restaurant made me so happy that she stood up to them. Loved this series a whole lot.
