Tis the season for exes, snowstorms, and a love worth fighting for…
Benjamin Hale and Evan Hernandez never expected to fall in love—let alone end up married by accident. But this Christmas, they’re ready to celebrate with Evan’s family in Spain and finally soak in the warmth of a real holiday together.
Their plan was to be surrounded by warmth, food, too many relatives to count and a little Christmas magic. But that plan disappears the second they walk through the door and find Evan’s ex-boyfriend, Diego, lounging on the couch.
A historic snowstorm traps them all under one roof, stirring up old memories, new insecurities, and every possible shade of family chaos.
As jealousy sparks and old worries resurface, Ben and Evan will have to decide if love can withstand the storm—or if the ghosts of their past will freeze their happily ever after.
This Christmas, the greatest miracle might be believing in each other.
This novella features the couple from Accidentally Husbands and continues their story. It is recommended to have read Accidentally Husbands first.
What a cute lil short story. To be honest, I think it should be the standard for romances to have a little short story continuation. I love to see more of couples their lives, after they get together. Many books in the genre end as soon as the couple gets together and whatever issues there were before, are resolved.. and it’s such a shame!! I want to see what happens after, the domestic moments!! Them being together just doing mundane shit!!! So I loved the fact there was a short story, with more of them. It’s not all cute and cozy, there was definitely some drama (Diego I want to punch you in the face as well, as Evan did) but there was also a lot of domestic and mundane things happening between them. Watching a movie, cuddling, having sweet conversations. And the “conflicts” are resolved in the end as well. I also loved how Ben still isn’t randomly cured. I always hate it when people fall in love and suddenly are cured of mental illnesses. That’s just not how it works. And Ben isn’t cured. He knows it. Evan knows it. And they both try to work with that. Even though there is some miscommunication, or well more so not communicating at all sometimes… they do communicate well in my opinion. Evan knows Ben sometimes needs some time to bring things up, and he accepts that and doesn’t try to push it. Ben knows he needs to bring things up and can’t run away from those conversations forever. They work well together I think, and I love that. The amount of healthy communicating they do is such a breath of fresh air honestly. Although Ben struggles with being jealous and severe anxiety, Evan doesn’t take it personally (or well he tries to remind himself not to), and Ben tries his hardest to think rationally. I love how they feel realistic, to the point it’s sometimes frustrating, but done so well.
A great follow-up to Accidentally Husbands. Accidentally Snowed In has the same charm, with Ben and Evan being just as emotionally engaging and adorable as ever. A cozy, enjoyable sequel that genuinely made me smile.
It was short and cozy, and I got to read it on Christmas Day, which in itself was wonderful, and I also got to beta read on this so now reading the final edition made me see some of the suggestions I made in the book and just how it’s blossomed into a beautiful almost magical experience/Christmas Novilla
Ohh this was so good. The drama was *chefs kiss* it was funny and cozy and reading more about Evan and Ben was amazing. I loved that we got Evan’s pov after the first book was from Ben’s pov. I think that was such a good idea. Again I had such a good time reading it. This was such a good follow up to the first book.
This was short i mean like short. (12 chapters) I finished it in less than two hours. It was sweet, quick pace and felt like i was reading a short fic. This would be something i would to get out of a book slump.
Love the protective Evan. I really was hoping he would punch or humble the ex and he did and I enjoyed that very much with that and him with Ben anxiety is like agh I want and need in my life. I need myself an Evan.
This couple is so cute and I adore them very much.
Amazing story, the perfect mix of angst and holiday love and joy. The perfect book to get you into the holiday spirit whilst also enjoying a silly little holiday romance. So glad we got to see a bit more of Ben and Evan.10/10 recommend
