He came to the ranch to prove he wasn't broken. He found the Daddy who put him back together.
Photographer Ethan Clarke collapsed from burnout in Patagonia. Now he's desperate to prove he can still do his job—even if it means working himself into the ground again.
Ranch foreman Cole Redmond sees right through him. The skipped meals. The sleepless nights. The way Ethan refuses to slow down.
Cole doesn't just notice. He does something about it.
A steamy age gap hurt/comfort Daddy cowboy romance featuring emotional caretaking, gentle discipline, found family on a working ranch, and an HEA where broken boys become beloved.
This is book one in The Redmond Brothers series. Each book is a complete standalone romance with an HEA, but they're best enjoyed in order to experience the full found family journey.
The cure to burnout is apparently getting a Daddy. In other news: did you know that there are forks in the kitchen?
No, but jokes aside? I could've used a Cole/Daddy because boy is Ethan lucky. He did mess up big time, but he put in the work and showed that sorry is empty words unless you back it up with actions. A lesson that REALLY should be taught from an early age.
It was a cute story. The smut wasn't overwhelming or there for filler. I was happy with the amount of yeeyee without it trying to be a full blown western. Everything fit right where it was supposed to. Imo. I liked it enough to give book 2 a chance.
