Action and Bonding - Two Intermingled Stories

The story switches back and forth between the action filled adventure fighting Cain and the developing Resonance bond between Kaelar and Dr Marks. At times, the emotional and romantic interludes seem to be very ill-timed. The character development is nicely done. The world view is a little ragged. Part of that may be trying to keep the truth hidden until the end. Interesting read. The next book sounds promising.
