Witchbane Alpha: A Forbidden Fated Mates Paranormal Romance

Rate this book
One cursed touch from a Witchbane Alpha should've killed me. Instead, it claimed me—body and soul.

I'm Avelyn Silvarthorn—the last witch whose magic exposes deadly secrets.

I came to Ashclaw territory to stop a corruption killing wolves and witches alike.

But the moment I collide with Toren Ashclaw, the notorious alpha whose touch kills witches, everything ignites.

His hands hit my bare skin. Silver thorns meet gold fire. Heat explodes between us—the mate bond snapping into place, feral and unbreakable.

He's brutal, devastatingly beautiful, and cursed. Every witch who's touched him has died screaming. He swears I'll be next.

And now the bond burns hotter with every stolen glance, every accidental brush—his wolf growling mine, his touch searing wherever skin meets skin.

Pack law gives us seven days to break this bond or he'll be executed. Breaking it will kill us both. Completing it will ignite a war.

The corruption hunting us? It wants the first Silvarthorn and Ashclaw bonded in a century—dead.

Fast Read with a Dark Vibe

Witchbane Alpha was a really fun, fast paced read. The tension between Avelyn and Toren is strong right from the start, and I liked that their bond actually feels dangerous instead of easy or comfortable. The cursed alpha and last witch dynamic works well, and the seven day deadline keeps the stakes feeling high the whole time. I also appreciated that there’s more going on than just the romance, between the worldbuilding, pack politics, and underlying corruption, it all feels layered. A few parts felt a little rushed, but overall this was engaging, angsty, and full of great chemistry. A solid pick for paranormal romance fans.

Thank you to StoryOrigin for the advanced copy this is my honest review.

This was a very short novella. I didn't realize it until I saw it was only 93 pages in the ebook. I was intrigued with the story of a wolf who's touch kills witches. It was fast paced with likeable characters. I was pulled into the story from the start. I read this in one sitting. I found it very enjoyable.
