Me ha parecido una historia Preciosa, llena de mucha pasión y amor.
Me gustó mucho que fuera un amor a fuego lento y empatice mucho con Daniel y Claudia, de hecho me ha dado pena terminarla.
La pluma de Ariana es increíble, fluye y te va llevando con la historia, se hace muy ágil y adictiva.

Es mi primer libro de la autora y me la he pasado super bien ya que andaba con un bloqueo lector intenso, me ha gustado el amor a fuego lento que se ha desarrollado, espero descubrir más a la autora...

Te engancha desde el principio. La historia es bonita y los personajes son todos sentimientos, aunque él no lo parezca. Se repiten algunos diálogos que no tienen mucho sentido, pero aún así me ha gustado la novela.

Lo disfrute mucho y más cuando la historia tiene una trama de altibajos y madurez de los personajes. Considero doloroso pero a la vez necesario puntos de la historia de Claudia, solo de esa manera ella podría volver a tener una vida verdaderamente suya.

Muy bueno
Este es el primer libro que leo de la escritora y me ha gustado mucho como se desarrolla, aquí tenemos a Claudia ella tuvo una decepción amorosa y sale con sus amigas para olvidar sus penas y allí conoce a un hombre con el que desahogara lo que le sucedió y pasara algo más de solo una noche lo que ella no se imagina es que ese hombre será su jefe, desde ese momento todo cambia, Daniel es un hombre frío y bastante reservado que casi nunca deja ver sus emociones hasta que conoce a Claudia ella desbarata todo su mundo y lo que empieza como una noche de copas se transforma en algo más.

Un libro que se lee en un suspiro, pero que deja huella.
Claudia y Daniel tienen una química brutal, con momentos divertidos, tensos y tiernos. Los diálogos son súper naturales y la historia está muy bien estructurada.
Me encantó la mezcla de humor, pasión y esa pizca de drama que hace que no puedas soltarlo. Perfecto para quienes aman el romance contemporáneo con toque de oficina.

Una novela sin mucho drama, situaciones que se resuelven rápido. Una historia muy bonita y entretenida. Es ligera y fácil de leer. Me gusta de esta autora que no crea un drama existencial con el protagonista masculino en cuanto a saber si está enamorado, lo está, y lo acepta rápido. Todo pasión y remordimientos
Muchas pasiones se despiertan entre dos desconocidos, tanto que no pueden resistirse, ni separarse por mucho que lo intenten. Recuerdos dolorosos atormentan a la protagonista tomándome la felicidad, y nublando su juicio. Muy entretenida. Aunque encontré algunos errores al nombrar los personajes, estos no le restan a la historia.

3.75 rounded up to 4! I adored this romance! It was a whirlwind story with a tragic backstory. I really enjoyed Daniel and Claudia’s chemistry. Claudia is a strong FMC but Daniel learns quickly and realizes that Claudia needs someone to take care of her for once. There was definitely a good amount of angst and when the sparks fly…it’s so good.
I dropped the rating to 3.75 because I just wasn’t a super big fan of the ending. I felt like I wanted it to end differently. Other than that I truly enjoyed!

Me ha gustado. Al principio va un poco lento pero coge ritmo enseguida. Me gustan mucho los personajes, tengo q decir que Jake va a ser una bomba d relojería... apunta maneras.

Thanks to @olivepresspublishing for the opportunity to read this ARC.. and the fact its been translated from Spanish to English is amazing work!
AWOD starts by introducing you to the MFC Claudia after a breakup with her fiancé Álvaro, just weeks before their wedding. (I already felt sorry for her from then on lol) & with a name like that, yup asshole. With this all being set in Madrid.
Then in enters the American MMC via a "go hook up with him to get over your ex" situation her friends put her into - fyi Claud - get better friends 👀🤣 but hes ever the gentleman.
And it has spicy scenes.. pretty tame tp what ive read but it was hawttttt.... you know the rest of the books going to be good when this is the after effect "We lie there, completely spent, fully aware that whatever that was…it wasn’t just sex. It was the kind of fuck that ruins you for everything else to come."
I really liked Claudia's sister, Sofía. The giggles they had about Claud's, had me giggling with them! 🤣 and i love the bond they have together. Its so meaningful it warmed my heart.
Andddd chaos rans... this book is awesome 🤣👀
Her friend Virginia kills me “He’s here to restructure the company,” Virginia murmurs, her voice dripping with innuendo. “Although I think he already restructured you.” - I laughed for about 5 minutes 🤣🤣
Jake is amazing. I laughed so hard everytime he fires his quips! And the banter 🤣
Their relationship was so up and down and emotional 😮💨 i felt every ounce of it. The office scene with the d!ldo had me cackling so hard 🤣🤣🤣🥷 top quality 👌🤣🤣
& the spice was spicing. 3/4 star spice i would say.

This was above and beyond what I usually would read! (Probably should have guessed that when it started at 4%, my bad! HA!) I wish there was more building up the main characters and why they work together. But I do give props to Claudia. I do love a strong corporate FMC though!
If you like a fiery, steamy romance, check this one out! If there’s a second book I would love to read to see where some of these characters ended up. There were so many strong and sassy secondary characters that deserve more of a story!
Some of it did get a little repetitive and twisty but I do think that may have been due to this being a translated novel? I’m giving the benefit of the doubt on that one.

A ver, es malo.
Pero da lo que promete, valoro mucho la honestidad en estos títulos ¿tu que has venido a buscar? pues eso lo tienes y de sobra.
No se si la autora es española pero la version de Kindle que yo me he leido estaba constantemente usando los mísmos símiles, comparaciones y exageraciones para el sexo y estaba maquetado de manera horrible.
La trama esta bien aunque en realida dno pase gran cosa, se puede resumir el libro entero en 4 frases pero me parece un talento increible poder sacar brillo a una trama tan simple.
