Elin Hilderbrand lives on Nantucket with her husband and their three young children. She grew up in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, and traveled extensively before settling on Nantucket, which has been the setting for her five previous novels. Hilderbrand is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and the graduate fiction workshop at the University of Iowa.
This series was the exact cozy read I was looking for while home for Christmas. Loved all the family members, loved how their stories ended up coming together in the end. Loved Christmas in Nantucket!! SO happy we finally found out what happened to Bart. Even happier the book didn’t end on a sad note (like I thought it would). Was truly a Hallmark movie in book form. We love a feel good book!
This series just keeps getting better with each book! I really love the multiple points of view - rather than being confusing, they add so much depth and allow you to truly get to know the characters. The shifting perspectives feel intentional to build the story up in the best way possible and makes it easy to follow. This book also amped up the suspense compared to the others, with plenty of “uh oh, what’s going to happen next?” moments that made it hard to put down. An actual page-turner, and I’m excited to wrap up this series and see what’s in store with book four.
I am currently making my way through all 36 of Elin Hilderbrand’s books, I’ve read about 15 so far. Normally I don’t like to read Christmas books after Christmas but I’m really enjoying this series. Definitely don’t pick this one up without reading Books 1 & 2 first. The Quinn Family is very lovable, none of them are perfect and many of the book focuses on their faults but it just makes it for an easy read. Overall, I would rate this 4/5 stars ⭐️ and would recommend the series if you’re in the mood for a nice contemporary fiction and romance read.
Wow!! So many resolutions and yet so much more to come.
Thrilled with Ava’s new job, new man, new world! Mitzi is home and in much better spirits. Jennifer is on the wagon and her and Patrick’s marriage is surviving and I’m hoping to see it thrive. Kevin & Isabella are finally tying the knot.
Bart is home!!! Maybe not well, but home.
I’m so sad to see Kelley survive one sickness and develop another :(

4.5 ⭐️ I think this one is my favorite in this series so far! These characters have grown so much in this third book, I’m so excited to see what’s in store for the last and final book in this series! Both Bart and Kelley’s journey/story in this book made me cry my eyes out. I truly do not know how to explain it but there’s just something so special about an Elin Hilderbrand novel and the way she writes her books.
I started Winter Street because it was recommended and I wanted a good "Hallmark Christmas" story. I didn't have time for a series and was just going to read the one book but here I am wrapping up 3 and getting ready to download 4 because I have to know what happens next. And I'm going to miss this family when it's over.
The Quinn family saga continues. We find out Kelley has cancer, but Mitzi moves back to help care for him. Margaret and Drake are married, Kevin and Isabelle set a date and Ava seems to finally have made a decision on her love life. Patrick and Jennifer are working to get things back to normal. And Bart is still missing, but we find out his fate.
This family is in the height of chaos and difficult situations, that so many of us go thru in real life. It's all about family the highs and the lows. Finding yourself and living outside of your comfort zone. Welcoming home a broken hero and celebrating the holiday full of family, love and new starts...
This series just keeps getting better and better. This may have been my favorite in the series so far as each member of the family is coming into their own. Can’t wait to see how the series ends 4.1/5 ⭐️
A very nice continuation of the story of the Quinn family and their Christmases on Nantucket! I’d call this series a cozy read and sometimes that’s just what you want!
A continuation of the Quinn family saga. Troubles all around! It’s a cute, fun read. I think all four books should have been combined or maybe put into two, but I will keep reading them to find out what happens in this family!
