It's about USA prisoner of war soldiers in WWII made to march through Germany during 40 below degree temps and weather. It tells about their march, how they got shot down and the background stories of each (they were pilots/flyers). It was so interesting, I went out to eat, some nights, just so I could read the book without any interruptions. You felt like you were there in the prison camps with the guys. Just finished it. It is a great book making history interesting.
