Build A Family

This book was a joy and blessing to read. When things go right you need family; when things go wrong you need family. What God hath joined together let no man tear apart.

Classic Dorothea Benton Frank

Another absorbing story. You cannot leave the characters. They draw you in and you become immersed in their low country world. I am a southern gal and a 30+ year South Carolinian. DBF is spot on in how special this state is along with its people. As always, this story is told from many viewpoints and filled with lush descriptions, relatable problems, and realistic solutions. A must read!

Amazing as ever..

Since the first book I read by this author, I've been hooked. The first book was forced on me by my older sister with the caveat that she definitely wanted it returned. Since that time I'm always keeping an eye out for new releases. I know I'm supposed to talk about the construction and praise Ms Frank's talent but I really love all of her books but especially this one!

This was hard to finish (as hallmark as it gets). I pictured everyone as really ugly and that didn’t help

THOROUGHLY ENJOYABLE

The characters are well developed and so believable. The story line is engaging with enough twists to keep my interest.

Takes one’s mind off all the craziness in the world and the beauty of Family if you are blessed enough to have one .
