Like so many others, we escape the reality of our hectic jobs by reading on the bus or daydreaming about complex villains and savvy heroines during Zoom calls. At the end of the day, no matter how many emails we answer or markets we monitor, we’re still just two friends scribbling ideas on sticky notes, dreaming up impossible worlds, and believing that love and magic belong everywhere.

Compelling read and engaging until the last page. Love the characters (hint there are cute dragons and sexy shadows involved). Highly recommend and excited for the next installment!!!

This is one of my favorite books! It has everything- adventure, mystery, joy, sorrow, love, loss, and intrigue from the first page to the last! Of course it also has curses, powers, magic, prophecies, dragons and a map of the amazing world you are experiencing. The authors paint the characters and scenes with words so that you can visualize every moment vividly unfold like you are watching a movie. The ending will leave you dying to know what happens next. Can’t wait to read the next book!

This book was INCREDIBLE. A total page turner, it was hard (dare I say impossible?) to put down. Spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ and lots of plot twists with an awesome FMC and a 🔥 MMC. Wish I could read it again for the first time and I NEED BOOK 2!!!!

My heart is still racing…. Loved this book! Beautiful descriptive verbiage, dynamic characters, thoughtful world building, impressive pacing and spice!!! This is exactly what I needed. Has any one heard of a release date for #2?!
