COLLEGE AFTER DARKRight Love. Wrong Time. A Dark College Romance
Some loves don’t break. They go quiet.
Zeke Lawson arrives at college determined to earn his place and keep his head down. Football gives him purpose. Discipline gives him control. Silence keeps him safe.
Then there’s Eva.
Quiet, thoughtful, and impossible to overlook once you truly see her, Eva doesn’t belong to the world that celebrates Zeke’s rising status. Their connection grows slowly through shared classes, late-night study sessions, and conversations that don’t demand performance or perfection. With her, Zeke can breathe.
But college doesn’t reward quiet love.
As Zeke’s success pulls him deeper into a world of attention, power, and unspoken expectations, lines begin to form. Rumours spread. Assumptions replace truth. Silence becomes dangerous, and timing becomes everything.
Because not all love stories are equal. Not all affection is safe. And sometimes, choosing the right person at the wrong time costs more than walking away.
College After Right Love. Wrong Time. is a dark, slow-burn college romance about power imbalance, reputation, consent, and the emotional fallout of what is left unsaid. This is a story where connection builds softly and breaks loudly under the weight of expectation.
This is not a story about perfect people. It is about becoming more honest ones, even when love does not survive the timing.

Author: H.Andrew Rating:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I really want to say H.Andrew really went above and beyond with this book. I cannot wait for book 2. I could not put this book down I read straight through. Zeke the MMC went through a lot and learned so much. He and Charlotte were at the wrong time but very much loved one another. Once you read towards the end the truth of how the situation unraveled was just unbelievable. Eva is the sweetest she helped Zeke with so much she just did not fit into that attention seeking world and she stepped back because of that. I did really love how it ended. Charlotte and Zeke become friends they realize that they couldn't be more than that. Eva and Zeke talked and she realized that you know he had been changing and he had been trying to do everything to be a better person. I like the end of the book when he's laying in the grass and he's thinking about everything changing you know, a new school year, new friends, people that probably won't even remember what happened, but it's a new chance to start over. Side note with the little situation with the football player in Charlotte and Zeke stepping up, the assistant coach he is a complete and total butthead I did not like him. Overall the book was amazing I'm absolutely jumping for joy to read book 2 when it comes out. Quotes that hit hard: "I just can't stay close enough to watch you disappear into something that doesn't care if you make it out." -Eva "I hope you find your way back!"-Eva "Back to what?"- Zeke "To the version of you who noticed people without needing an audience "-Eva
This is a very good read. Has a lot of detail. Character building is amazing. This book has a great had a great out come… Definitely recommend for any one who likes a slow burn that turns out amazing. Right love at the wrong time.
New to darkish books. This one is beautifully written. I felt for Eva. Environments like this is exactly what we want to read about, never experience though. Up there with my books of 2025.
