Lords of Ruin: Dead Blood Volume I Book 2
Entire worlds shatter when hidden truths emerge, and each decision is more devastating than the last.
This book transports you back to a world shaped by deadblood nightmares, ancient magic and the
Vanguards’ unrelenting shadows. However, the stakes are much higher this time. The lies are more
sophisticated. And what little is left intact is in danger of being broken once more.
Rose confronts other Vanguard children for the first time, at Animus Rock for Academy, learning just how
evil her bloodline is thought to be.
While on a mission for Sybil to deliver a covert letter, Digory fights ghosts that won’t stay buried.
Amos is caught between the future he fought his way towards his entire life and the allegiances he once
vowed to defend.
Around them, realms edge closer to conflict. Old fears return. And whispers from fate become harder to
ignore.
This book leans into the messy, human parts of the grief, longing, betrayal, tenderness, and the
quiet bravery of being honest with yourself. It’s filled with tension but also unexpected beauty. It’s filled
with moments that make you pause, breathe, and feel with the characters.
Long after the last page is turned, you will still bear the emotional impact of this journey.
Book Two is where the heart of the series really starts beating.
