Time-travelling penguins Pablo and Splash are on a quest! Splash has heard there was an unlimited supply of delicious fishy snacks in medieval England. She heads straight to the time-machine, pulling best pal Pablo along by the flipper.
They soon meet some sheep, a pig and a very angry farmer – but no sign of tasty treats at all. Will they have better luck inside the castle? Or is it time to say ‘good knight’?
Funny, exciting, don't miss this laugh-out-loud adventure in the wonderful world of Pablo and Splash!

A fun short story in graphic style aimed at a middle grade audience.
Pablo and Splash are two penguins who love time travel and decide to travel do Medieval England in search of the Holy Grail (or is it Holy Krill?). When Professor O’Brain comes to help them with Timebender they are accused of witchcraft (and yet again my theme for 2026 shows up randomly).
A fabulous fun graphic novel. It had me smiling the whole way through! No misspelling of worlds or slang which is fab for either a new free reader or a reluctant reader.
Literally unashamedly raced to Waterstones to get this on World Book Day as a 34 year old woman. Two penguins time travel to medieval England on the basis of a misheard pun? 11/10, stunning work.
This was a fun read, and I liked that there are nuggets of facts in the story too. The protagonists were funny and the artwork was lovely. It's the first Pablo and Splash book I have read and I think I will be buying some more for the library as it seems like a great series.
This was a great adventure into history! In search of the Holy Krill (which itself is a wonderful lol), Pablo and Splash find themselves in a whole host of trouble! Gorgeous WBD book this year! My class adore Pablo and Splash - I know this has been a super popular purchase!
