I just finished Your Ride or Die by Anne M. Garnette, and what an incredible journey it was!
From the very first pages, the story pulled me in with its emotional depth, compelling characters, and the perfect balance of romance, tension, and unforgettable twists. What I loved most was how authentic the relationships felt—every conversation, every challenge, and every moment of vulnerability added another layer to the story. I loved this book SO much! Riley is the perfect summer book boyfriend. I loved the character development, and growth throughout the story and how everything fell together. Anne did a phenomenal job of making you feel like you were in Montana seeing everything through Mia’s eyes.

THIS is how you write a cowboy romance. With the exception of a few, many of the "BEST SELLERS" in the cowboy romance genre have never captured my attention, to the point where I thought, perhaps it just isn't for me... until Your Ride or Die.

Anne has managed to pour all the elements that make a cowboy book just that. A cowboy book with all the elements of ranch life, everyday normal things. It made relating to these characters easy.

Mia is a city girl, having moved from Manhattan, to live with her step siblings on the family ranch. A new life, a new place, a new home, however, Mia soon finds that just changing your circumstances and location don't necessarily make old wounds disappear. I truly had myself wondering if this city princess can actually form roots in a town where she doesn't truly belong... or does she?

Tall, strong, alpha male, hot cowboy and single dad. I am a sucker for a single dad... don't judge me.
This man knows how to push Mia's buttons, amongst other things. I'll let you use your imagination.

Mia has managed to grab the attention of this broody cowboy from day one. The chemistry was undeniable but so was the hate. To Riley, Mia represented everything he detests. A prissy city girl whose shoes cost more than a ranch hands monthly pay, whose perfectly manicured nails were not meant for the grit that came with running a ranch. A "princess" in every sense of the word, and his best friends sister.
Nothing could ever come of them, and Riley did everything he could make make certain that nothing ever would or at least, he tried to.

Anne has really grown in her writing and it is so clearly evident with this latest release. Beautiful story of love, loss, betrayal, forgiveness and betrayal all blended and written to give the reader the best experience.

I absolutely loved it. It gave me all the feels, I loved, I laughed, I cried and now I'm giving it 5 well deserved stars.

Side Note: If you want a REAL cowboy romance with all the workings of real cowboy life, real emotions and characters you both love and occasionally want to strangle, a story with found family and what could actually be real life events with the rodeo minus the buckle bunnies, ( Thank God) then this book is a MUST READ.

I really loved this one! You can tell the author’s writing keeps improving with every book, the style is more confident and nuanced. The characters feel more layered and realistic, and the story is much more mature, credible and emotionally engaging. I was hooked the whole way through and it’s definitely my favorite Anne’s book so far. Can’t wait to read the next one!

After watching all that was about Yellowstone, this book came like the best ending
Loved it... Riley is the perfect man... Mia is lovely... You must read it...
