Healed By Luv: Healing Hearts Book 2

Rate this book
I had buried my past and walked away without looking back, leaving behind everything that once defined me. It wasn’t easy erasing the shadows of yesterday, but I had to move forward — if not for me, then for the two souls who had stitched my broken pieces back together.

I built walls higher than anyone could climb, speaking only when absolutely necessary. The world around me called me a robot — emotionless, detached — and I let them. It was safer that way. My only goal was to become a doctor, to make Chitti and Chittappa proud, to prove that their faith in me wasn’t misplaced.

But life has a cruel sense of irony. Just when I thought I had outrun my demons, fate dragged me back to where it all began — forcing me to face the ghosts I thought I’d buried forever. And this time, there was no escape.

Shiv

Life has a way of playing its cruelest games when you least expect it. I never thought I’d see her again — not after five long years of searching, of chasing shadows of the past that refused to fade. And when I finally did, I swore I’d never let her slip away again.

But fate had other plans. Just when love felt within reach, darkness crept back into our lives — threatening to destroy everything we had fought to rebuild.

In a world where every secret hides a wound, and every heartbeat carries a risk, I realized one truth…
Love isn’t just about finding someone — it’s about protecting them, even if it means losing yourself.

The story follows Pihu, whose life changes completely after one painful incident that leaves her shattered from within. Then Shiv enters her life who is impossible to ignore and with his steady presence and patience breaks the walls she had built around herself .

After reading the first book in the series, I was eagerly waiting for Pihu and Shivam’s story.
Pihu’s pain and struggles felt honest and deeply relatable. I really liked how her healing wasn’t rushed, instead it unfolded through small moments, emotional support, and gradual growth. Watching her transform from feeling almost robotic and emotionally shut down to becoming lively, expressive, and truly herself again was beautiful.
Shiv’s presence added so much warmth to the story. His support, care, and quiet understanding made their bond feel even more meaningful. Their relationship grows through patience, trust, and emotional safety.

Pihu and Muskaan’s reunion was something I had been waiting for, and it made me so happy. The found family aspect was truly heartwarming, the way everyone understands, supports, and stands by each other adds so much emotional depth to the story. I also loved all the Bollywood dialogue references they brought fun, nostalgia, and lightness to the narrative.
And that twist was definitely unexpected!

Overall, if you love healing journeys, emotional romance that makes you swoon and smile, and stories filled with beautiful friendships and found family, then this book is definitely for you.

“Healed By Luv” by Keerti Sandeep is a poignant second installment in the Healing Hearts series, centering on the emotional journey of Pihu and Shivansh. The narrative explores the aftermath of Pihu's sudden disappearance in the first book, "Her Luv My Cure," diving deep into her past traumas and the walls she built to protect herself. And, the book has to be appreciated for its gentle, sincere approach to healing, describing the reading experience as "sitting on hospital steps at sunset".

The character development is a standout feature, particularly Pihu's transformation from a guarded "robot" to a woman reclaiming her confidence and standing up for herself. Shiv is portrayed as a patient and unwavering hero, whose "witty, flirty, and charming" nature provides a warm contrast to Pihu’s vulnerability. Their chemistry is built on small, intimate moments rather than loud, grand gestures, making their connection feel organic and realistic.

Author, Keerti Sandeep’s writing style in this book, is filled with simplicity and emotional clarity, effectively capturing the complexities of grief and resilience without relying on overly dramatic tropes. The inclusion of a surprising plot twist—which I did not see coming—significantly shifts the story's emotional trajectory and keeps the readers hooked until the final pages. This blend of romance and a touch of suspense adds a layer of depth that elevates the typical college romance.

The "found family" aspect, carried over from the first book, remains a highlight, featuring the supportive and often chaotic friendship between Karan, Muskan, Pihu, and Shiv. These dynamics provide both humor and a sense of safety, reinforcing the theme that healing is a communal process. Symbolic elements, such as butterfly imagery and the meaningful temple proposal, further enrich the narrative, leaving readers with a lingering sense of warmth and hope

Overall, the book is a high work of emotions and trauma with the touch of slow-burn and romance. It portrays perfectly that love of all sorts, is worth the risk at any measure. It successfully bridges the gap between past pain and future hope, marking it as a strong addition to the series.

I went into this book very excited because medical romances already have my heart and this one exceeded every expectation. From the very beginning, it pulled me in and never let go.

The tension, the unspoken feelings, the way everything was said without actually being said..I was screaming internally. And the way Shivansh made Pihu smile? Ufff. That man knows exactly what he’s doing.
The filmy references,Maine Pyar Kiya, 3 Idiots added such a nostalgic, heartwarming touch. It made the story feel familiar yet fresh, like something deeply rooted in emotions we all understand.

What truly stood out to me was the intimacy in the small things. The stolen glances, the shared space, the tiny details, the almost-accidental touches, those moments where even the slightest contact sends jolts of electricity when you like someone. The author described these feelings so beautifully that I could feel them. Everything just fit together perfectly.

And that twist? I was NOT expecting it. Like—at all. It hit hard and changed the entire emotional trajectory of the story in the best way possible.

I related to Pihu on so many levels. Her emotions felt real, raw, and incredibly relatable. I understood her confusion, her longing, her hesitation, every single feeling made sense. And don’t even get me started on Dr. Rai. The butterflies he gave me with his tactics, his presence, the way he handled things..ugh. Dreams are truly made of men like that.

And that proposal? EVERYTHING. It was emotional, heartfelt, and exactly what it needed to be. I closed the book with the biggest smile and the fullest heart.
This book made me feel everything.

Love, love, loved it. A solid 5 star read.

Healing - the word captures tha attention immediately, doesn't it? Because every single one of us has gone through some or the other scenario where we lost hope. And life started looking difficult and unbearable.

Well, this book, Healed by Luv by Keerti Sandeep, is a touching contemporary Indian romance that explores emotional scars, budding love, and the slow balm of healing through connection. As the title says it loud, love is the best medicine for healing.

The story centers on Pihu, whose heartbreaking past leaves deep wounds, her life shattered after one incident that changed her life and herself completely.

Shiv, enters her life with warmth and persistence. His enigma, his charming personality, and his beautiful nature became Pihu's road of healing.

Their chemistry sparks amid pain, secrets, and friendship turning romantic, emphasizing that true healing unfolds gradually without rushed resolutions.

Pihu's journey is raw and relatable, allowing pain to linger realistically while Shiv's filmy cheer adds lighthearted charm.

The twist was unexpected and I was losing my mind. It changed the entire trajectory of the story.

Shiv's cuteness, funny nature, and his epic dialogues from Bollywood movies had me all the whole time. Knowing him was super fun 😊 😊.

The slow-burn romance shines, with love portrayed as imperfect yet transformative—perfect for fans of desi healing arcs.

The story is cozy yet gripping, with emotional highs that evoke tears and smiles; maintaining its balance of sweetness and depth.

Healed by Luv is a wonderful book, where as the name itself says, the power of true love in healing others with great patience and unconditional support comes alive mesmerizingly with the pure love story of Shiv and Pihu. The best thing that really touched me about this book is how both the lead characters had played a great role in bringing each other out of the emotional turmoils they were going through by being there for each other without any judgement and sticking firmly together even when circumstances got deeply rough between them.

Pihu stands out as a super impressive lady who doesn't let her tragic personal life affect her zeal of professional commitments. Shiv emerges as a wonderful hero donning the white coat of a doctor in its finest form and being a saviour for his patients but never ever losing his quirky charm.

Chitti and Chittapa are awesome supporting characters whose generosity really makes you feel to have guardians like them. Muskaan and Karan are there to extend helping hand and teasing flair in all their vibrant personalities as the best friends of Shiv and Pihu. Rohan, Shiv's parents and Kajal brings some intense dramatic twists which makes the story very entertaining.

The book penned in an elegant writing style and smooth narration makes it a highly enjoyable read. The fun scenes of the four friends, the emotional roller coasters of the lead characters and the suspense which gets introduced in between adds a thrilling angle to the book.

This book feels like sitting on hospital steps at sunset, talking about life, love, and wounds that don’t show on X-rays. Healed by Luv isn’t dramatic romance or heavy philosophy - it’s gentle, sincere, and quietly emotional.

The story leans into the idea that love isn’t loud, it’s healing. It’s about conversations that matter, silences that comfort, and connections that don’t try to fix you overnight. There’s something very soft and reassuring about the way the characters interact - like they’re learning to heal alongside each other, not ahead of each other.

What I really liked is how the book doesn’t rush emotions. It lets pain exist. It lets healing take time. And it reminds you that sometimes, the deepest scars don’t need grand gestures - just understanding, patience, and genuine care.

Is it fast-paced? No.
Is it comforting? Very.

This is the kind of book you read when you want hope without chaos, romance without toxicity, and love that feels safe rather than overwhelming.

Final vibe:
Gentle love, quiet healing, and soft reassurance.
Perfect for slow readers and tender hearts 💚📖

This story is an emotional journey of love, loss, and second chances. The protagonists carry deep scars from the past, and the narrative beautifully explores how trauma can shape a person while still leaving room for hope. The heroine’s guarded heart and determination to rebuild her life contrast powerfully with Shiv’s unwavering search for her. Their reunion isn’t just romantic it’s layered with pain, secrets, and the fear of losing everything again. The book keeps you invested with its emotional intensity and reminds us that love is not only about finding someone, but about standing by them even when the past refuses to stay buried.

Healed by Luv is one of those stories that doesn’t rush you. It sits with you, lets emotions settle, and slowly unfolds a love that feels safe, intentional, and deeply human.

This isn’t a loud romance. The characters carry their past quietly, and the story allows them space to hesitate, pull back, and choose trust in their own time. Healing here doesn’t happen all at once — it comes in small moments, conversations, and realizations that feel incredibly real.

What I appreciated most is that love is not portrayed as a solution, but as a companion to healing. It respects wounds instead of erasing them, making the emotional arc feel earned rather than idealized.

If you enjoy slow-burn romance with emotional depth and a strong healing journey, this book is worth picking up.

Healed By Luv - Keerti Asrani

“To every girl who has ever felt unwanted—know that you are enough, just as you are. There is someone out there who will see your light, love you fiercely, and cherish every part of you.”

I waited for 6 long months to read this beauty. It didn’t let me down anywhere. Like the first book, it carried me away. I love reading romance with some reality in it. This is a medical love story of Karan, Muskan, Shivansh, and Pihu.

Here in the second story is all about Pihu and Shivansh. The kind of love that bloomed along with their life demons following and learning their dark truths behind it. Giving space and rekindling together with their own love is something I was so stoked about. The way Shivansh calls Pihu “Sparkle”—there I fell for it. My inner child craved such love in real life. I wish in the next birth I can be able to get such kind of love. Those minute moments are the ones that make me feel loved. It’s the bare minimum a girl expects in a relationship.

The writing was so on point. She wrote everything in a perfect way. The family found through friendship was so beautiful. Standing up for each other in their tough times. I can’t stop thinking of their love and friendship, and the way they admire their partners is so special. Since today is Valentine’s Day, I thought I’d do justice to the love story.

Go pick if you want read a beautiful love story. Then this your next read.

I really liked this book especially the storyline, characters back story and thrilling elements. Though this is the second book of the series and interconnected with first one, I liked this book more. The characters are beautifully portrayed through concentrating on their backstory and vulnerable emotions by the author. It's like I have a read a good book after long time. I liked the MMC, Shiv more than any character in this book. The healing element of the book is really heartwarming.

Overall, I enjoyed reading this book till the end and it's a must read for those who love to read emotional romances. Also, I am looking forward to read Rohan's story soon.
