This is the second book in this series by Laura Kitchell. They are both shorter stories with strong female characters. The intrigue and spy stories kept me entirely entertained from the beginning to the end. Laura Kitchell is an author that I know will always entertain me.

Cassie is a great character. She is sure of herself, yet when her plan does not go as planned she is quick to alter. She is a lover undercover and when her mark does not fall for her charm she has to figure another way to win him over. I also love her strong morals. When doing her job she does what she has to, yet she manages to realize that her job isn’t all she thought it was.

I will recommend this series and this book to anyone looking for a quick, entertaining, and fun read.
