Now that Maeve’s task is done, it is up to Leyna to sneak into the Elven Kingdom and steal a moon apple. The task sounds easy enough, but when Leyna finds herself accidentally in the middle of a competition to become the next painter, her nerves nearly destroy her chances of getting the ingredient she needs.
Leyna gains a friend, a maid named Luell, and even though Luell is supposed to help Leyna, her presence only makes things worse. Every trip around the castle seems like a suspicious act, especially when it is late at night.
The most difficult thing for Leyna is fooling the Elven King. He closely watches all competitors, sending them off one by one while their skill level exceeds hers. Is he on to her scheming ways, or is her so-called abstract art something the Elven Royals are intrigued by?
The Moon Apple of the Elves is the third book in a four part book series.
3th book in the series and another hit!!! We follow Leyna who needs to steal the Moon Apple from the Elven Kingdom in order to make a potion for her dying friend. But this isn’t as easy as it sounds and she ends up competing in this painting competition to become the next Royal Painter for the Elven King. Huge problem, because Leyna cannot paint.
I absolutely adore all of the fmc in Bo’s books and ughhhh the Elven King is the most humble, kind and helpful man i’ve read about. Can we elect him here too please???
I flipping love how these girls will do anything for each other, even if it means putting themselves in dangerous situations. But gosh, the new friendships they make along the way, the adventures they go on, the personal growth, such a fun read that also has depth.
Oh and Leyna’s maid-turned-friend, Luell? She made me laugh sm what a pookie 😩🌸
Once I hit that 50% mark I couldn’t stop reading and i cannot wait for the next book, girls, ITS GONNA BE SO SO SO GOOD AAHHH!!!
Thankful to the author for this arc. Been curious to this one ever since i read the 2nd book. And it did not disappoint, i really enjoyed reading this. Love the serie, really like the story line and the characters. The 3 main girls, but also the ones we meet in this part (not all tho), but really like Vyrion and Luell. We even got another little pet! Willow is so adorable. Love a fake wedding, mean we have to wait for the 4th book tho. Even meaner after that ending! Dimitri found her! Seems bad, curious how that will go, since it didn't go that well with Emris. He at least had good intentions, idk about Dimitri. Also really curious how the wedding, the exchange with the cursed king, the stealing of the gold and the healing will go. I need answers!

Book 3 in this series was an absolute banger once again.
In this book, Leyna needs to steal a moon apple in the Elven Kingdom. As one would expect, it doesn’t go very smoothly and things take a turn real quick.
There is something about Bo’s writing that makes you want to keep reading. If it wasn’t for my busy days, I would have finished this one a lot sooner. There was tension, unexpected turns and lovely characters that made this book so so good.
I can’t wait for the fourth and final book and see how this series comes to a conclusion.
This is book 3 of the serie called: The kingdom's greatest treasures. And that is what these books are about. Getting the hands on the most important item of each of the kingdoms realms.
In this book we follow Leyna, she is an elf. And together with Maeve, Katerina, Dania she lives in the human kingdom. They feel like sisters to eachother, trying to survive on the bare minimum. Dania fell ill and now they have to get items to complete a potion. So Leyna goes to the Royal Palace off the elves. Because in this garden grows an special apple; the moon Apple. Only things dont go as planned. Leyna gets caught or at least that is what she thinks. When the guard askes if she is here for the competition she says yes. But what competition, a competition led by the King ofcourse.
Wow this book is so awesome. Leyna, dear sweet Leyna. And her awesome sidekick Luell ❤️ ofcourse the sweet flickerfox also made it in this book, aswell as pet Wolfs. This are only a part of the awesome things. Leyna is just adorable, she is sweet and does everything to get this Apple for her potion. Also the pace of the book is good. At some points even high, but not to high. Its a fast read and i loved every minute of it. I can not wait for the other books, to finish this serie.
Book three in The Kingdom’s Greatest Treasures was such a fun and exciting read, and it might be my favorite in the series so far. Leyna’s mission to steal the moon apple was already intriguing, but the twist of her accidentally entering a royal painting competition when she can’t paint made the story even more entertaining. I really enjoyed Leyna as the main character because she was kind, brave, and willing to do anything for the people she loves. The found family dynamic continues to be one of my favorite parts of this series, and the friendships in this book felt especially warm and genuine. Luell added so much humor to the story, and the Elven King was sweet, charming, and impossible not to like. The cozy fantasy atmosphere mixed with the adventure and high stakes made this book hard to put down. Bo’s writing keeps the story fast-paced and engaging while still giving the characters plenty of heart. That ending left me needing the next book immediately, and I can’t wait to see how the series concludes. Thank you to Bo Salem for this ARC!
The moon apple of the elves takes off right where the last book, wings of the fae, ended. The now grown found family is still giving it their all to save little dania and now it is up to leyna to steal a moon apple from her own kingdom, right in the heart of the elven kingdom. But by accident she enters a competition to become the new royal painter for the king. Will she be able to keep the act up long enough to steal the moon apple?!
* Growing found family 👩🏻❤️💋👩🏻 * Cozy fantasy vibes 💖 * A sweet (and hot) royal elven king 🧝🏻♂️ * A cute wolf 🐺 * A competition / secret identity 🎨 * The best maid in the whole series (Luell) * A sweet but strong MC 🎀
Out of the first 3 books this book has to be my favorite. It reads like an cozy fantasy with the high stakes still there. You can see how well Bo can write either an high stakes high angst novel (book 1) to more of an high fantasy (book 2) and how each book she grows as an writer ♡ Give this book a try today!
🌹Will Leyna be successful in her search for the Moon Apple or will she be caught stealing from her own king?🌹
🌹 The third instalment of Bo Salem 's The Kingdom's Greatest Treasures series is filled with narrow escapes, court politics, and unexpected friendships. 🌹
🌹 The Moon Apple of the Elves follows Leyna as she sneaks into the Royal Palace of the Elven Kingdom to find the Moon Apple in the King's garden. 🌹 However, Leyna's mission becomes complicated when she gets herself involved in a competition to find the new Royal Portrait Painter. 🌹 Will Leyna be able to make it through the competition unscathed without losing her caring, soft-spoken nature? Or will she crumble due to the cruel treatment and dangerous revenge plots she faces from the other painters? 🌹 It was heart-breaking to see how Leyna's anxiety and fear of men not only influenced how she reacted to every situation, but also impacted her appetite and health. 🌹
🌹 I thought book 2's ending was intense, but book 3... Let's just say that I did not see that coming at all 😅🌹 Super excited for book 4 🌹😊🌹
This book was once again a banger!! I absolutely love going into the story again. 😍🥰
In this part we are following sweet an patienced Leyna, which will grow from an insecure elf to a beautiful and confident elf!! Following her was so sweet and heartwarming even though some part were very scary and gripping!! 💗
I loved seeing the Elven realm, and also the race to win being the painter of the Elven King. It was so fun. I cannot wait to read the final book, even though it will break my heart (because then the series is over)!! 🥹
I cannot put this series down and will keep recommending it, because this is such a masterpiece!! Especially when you love a founded family, this is an amazing series!!🤭🤭🤭
I am in love with Leyna's character!! Her story was so cute, adorable and sad. I couldn't stop giggling through the entire time I spent reading this book. The chemistry between Leyna and Luelle is so funny and wholesome, their friendship reminded me so much of my friend 🤣.The interactions between Leyna and the King were so cute 🥺 I can't stop thinking about the ending, and I can't wait for the next book in the series.
I'd like to thank the author for giving me this opportunity to ARC read this book 🫶🏻💕
Leyna having to sneak into the elven kingdom to steal a moon apple already had me SAT, but the twist of her being mistaken for a contestant in a royal painting competition despite not being able to paint at all, is exactly the kind of chaotic energy I adore. It’s fast, whimsical, and full of "oh no, how is she going to get out of this" that keeps you wanting more.
It's definitely bordering more on the cosy side of fantasy, but I found that things still moved along at a good pace and there was plenty happening to keep my interest going. Out of the three books, this one has to be my favourite so far!
The ending, though… that cliffhanger was MAJOR. I closed the book and immediately needed book four in my hands. This series just keeps getting better, and I can’t wait to see how everything wraps up!
↪ 5 stars
Thank you to the author for this arc in exchange for an honest review.
I cannot wait to share this story with everyone, Leyna's adventure feels like a cosy dream, and it's much more calm that the last two books, but it's the one right before the final and you will slowly see all the pieces coming together!
🍎𝑡𝑟𝑜𝑝𝑒𝑠: •Found family •Adorable animal sidekick •Cozy fantasy •Competition to become the next royal painter
Bo did it again. This was so fun and fast paced. I'd recommend this series to everyone who is looking for a shorter fantasy book that still has a very fun story and amazing, diverse characters! Every book follows a different character and story, so I'd bet everyone would love at least one of them. (Most likely all of them, but I might be biased because I do)
Also, let me just say: Bo knows how to write an animal sidekick. I cant even say which one is my favourite, I love them all!
And again, THE CLIFFHANGER😭 I need book 4 like, right now.
