I've never read the Hellblazer comic books or other works with John Constantine but I instantly fell in love. Constantine certainly isn't a guy you trust to save everyone if matters get worse. He manipulates and does everything that is necessary to stop the really disturbed people from achieving too much power, even if he ends up sacrificing a friend. He knows he's a bastard and doesn't deny it. He doesn't care what people will think of him, he only cares about stopping the actual bad guys. You just love him, he's a great antihero.
