confused
okay,i really liked the vibe of this book. the characters were very interesting. i was immersed in the story, and then, events strained credulity.
they were captured, bleeding, injured, but then like super hero’s managed to escape, evade capture and act like they had no injuries. there were several repeats and oopsies.
he loses his suit jacket in their escape, then several chapters later, he’s wearing it. his ribs are broken, but he jumps over fences like superman.
he tells her his origin story while they are hiding out, then at the end of the book he tells her his origin story again and she acts like she’s just hearing it.
there were a lot of inconsistencies in this book.
it’s a shame, because i really liked the storyline. this Author is talented but really needs a new editor to catch all these glaring errors.
