Good, very good. Seriously, this was fun, adventurous, high stakes. World building. Complex characters. A good amount of romance for a fantasy. Loved it. Especially the whole mission impossible aspect. Ardor Benn is truly a great character. I can’t wait to get on book 2.
4.5 ⭐️ overall, but make that 5⭐️ It was fun, I was actually never bored. The story was unique and the magic system was really great. Although I wouldn’t call it magic exactly, but still really good.
The whole religious thing was my my thing, which is why I’ll give 4.5⭐️ but aside from that. Dragons? Mission Impossible? That deserves a ⭐️5
It was a concept of time that sent my mind spinning for a very long time. had so many unexpected twists and turns I could never have expected and solutions to problems that were ingenious.
