Scott Snyder is the Eisner and Harvey Award winning writer on DC Comics Batman, Swamp Thing, and his original series for Vertigo, American Vampire. He is also the author of the short story collection, Voodoo Heart, published by the Dial Press in 2006. The paperback version was published in the summer of 2007.
The Court of Owls is probably one of the most interesting antagonists in BM's universe. So much potential in discovering the true reason why gotham is such a shithole, but IK that DC writers are deathly afraid of a good plot that goes beyond a middle schooler's attention span. EXPLORE BRUCE'S RELATIONSHIP W THE CITY AND HIS WEALTH!!! MAKE HIM COME TO RECKON WITH HIS FAMILY'S HISTORY. Also learning more about his mom was rlly cool. also Alfred's dad!!
This was fantastic. My first intro into the Court of Owls, the mysterious ancient group running Gothem in the shadows delivered. I liked the cells at the end of each chapter shown both normal and as a sketch.
