Review: In Bernstein’s recreation of the history of important scientific discoveries that led to Einstein’s electromagnetic and kinematic theories. Bernstein wishes to inform the reader about these important discoveries in physics while keeping the reader entertained through smart comedy and an emphasis on visual over mathematical learning. As Bernstein says himself in the prologue, you only need a high school level knowledge of math to understand the book.The book also does a good job of introducing a lot of different topics regarding Einstein’s theories of 1905 to keep it interesting throughout. If you want to learn more about these important physical theorize created by Einstein in 1905 without requiring higher education then Secrets of the Old One: Einstein, 1905 is the book for you.
