Tempt Me: A Dark Steamy Billionaire Contract Marriage Romance

Rate this book
I didn’t marry Kian Rathore for love.

I married him because my mother’s hospital bills don’t care about pride, and because in my world “waiting” is just another word for losing. Kian is a billionaire with a face the cameras worship, a family that runs on influence, and a life built like a fortress. He offers me a contract marriage, a penthouse, and protection.

What he doesn’t offer is the truth.

Because the real deal isn’t about romance. It’s about control. It’s about legitimacy, appearances, and power games that turn a woman into proof. The moment I sign his name into my life, I become a headline, a target, and a weapon someone else thinks they can aim.

Then the scandal drops.

My name trends. Strangers decide my worth in seconds. Sponsors panic. The internet gets cruel. And the people who can’t reach me start reaching for my family instead.

Kian thinks he can manage the damage with PR, lawsuits, and silence.

I refuse.

I didn’t claw my way out of poverty to become a pretty hostage in a gold cage, even if the man holding the key kisses like sin and looks at me like I’m the first thing he’s ever wanted that he can’t buy.

So I leave.

Not dramatically. Strategically.

And that’s when I learn the most dangerous truth of walking away from a billionaire doesn’t remove the danger. It just removes the walls.

Now Kian has a choice. Keep playing his family’s game, or stop using me as collateral and become the kind of man who earns trust without leverage.

And me?

I’m done being the “good wife.” If I stand beside him, it’s as an equal. A threat. A partner.

Because if they want a war, I’ll give them one.

Tempt ME is a steamy billionaire romance packed with marriage of convenience, fake marriage / contract wife, forced proximity, slow burn tension, high heat spice, dark family power games, protective billionaire hero, strong heroine, scandal and revenge, and a hard-earned love built on consent, trust, and real accountability. Perfect for readers who love dark billionaire romance, arranged marriage romance, and high-stakes romantic suspense vibes with intense chemistry and emotional payoff

Not knocking other reviewers but what made you give this KDA type book a 4 or 5 stars? Did you read a different version then the posted here.

I walked into this book thinking this would be a good selection for my Goodreads group to read based on the stars posted. Well, there nothing steamy about this book at 74%...nothing. it was annoying at most. The story never tell why billionaire Kian Rathore chose Ira Fernandes, a  struggling working class, who takes care of her mother and brother met in a city of millions other worker bees to marry him. He makes a relationship contract so he is protected from his board so they don't take his company.

Okay pass that part... the contract was structure to be skewed in her favor because she's a thinking woman...but the story falls apart and rules are broken, by him.. Kian is weak character to be a billionaire.

Somewhere in the book her mother starts calling her Beta ..why? SMH

Yes I finished this $#*! show.
