THAT WAS...
WHIPPED is the second installment in the Hitched series, but can be read as a standalone. It's about Kacie's best friend, Vi.
I loved Vi's character in the previous book. Therefore, I was really looking forward to her own story. And as I said before... IT WAS FUN and I liked it A LOT!
I mean, how can you NOT like THIS?
Meet Lachlan/Lach, the sexy AUSSIE from Down Under, male stripper and HOT AS HELL!
Vi and Lach know each other from his regular visits to Vi's store. Although she's attracted to him, there's nothing going on between them except a little flirting. Well, at least until one day he shows up at her door and becomes her new roommate... and this is where it all begins!
This was such a fun read and I really enjoyed it. There were just some minor things that didn't work out for me. .
What I liked the most? Lachlan, of course...DUH!

The story was good, but some things just annoyed the hell out of me.
First it went so fast you needed to read some things twice just to be sure
( I sure did that! ) It was so promising to me, it sounded like a little diamond.
But it bothered me that it all went fast and some things weren't even mentioned.
It still was a steamy book with a good story, but for me it all felt a bit to rushed.
I would still say go and read the book, it can be your diamond!

I can not even tell you how much I LOVED this book. Karpov Kinrade always brings these story's to reality for me. I feel like I'm living as the main character (or maybe just wishing) in their books. This is probably very close to my favorite book of KK. I laughed so hard at parts and it is also very sexy. Vi and Lachlan are crazy, sexy, fun and perfect for each other. Just read this book, it is one of my all time favorites EVER!!

I wasn't sure that after Hitched if this stand alone series could get any better. boy was I wrong. this book was absolutely amazing. the tag team duo did it again. this book is sexy and funny and keeps you going to the point you cant put it down. Vi is such an amazing character and you will just love her from page one. I myself after reading hitched wanted to learn more about the mysteries of dom Vi and this book does not fail. and you will laugh your Butt off (skittles of evil) and fall in love with the characters and maybe get emotional at some spots but let me say you will want to read it over and over again. and like me you will notbe able to wait for the next book they wrtite.

Wow! I loved Hitched, but Whipped was even better!! It's a super fast, easy read full of funny, sweet and sexy times. It's most definitely my favorite and I absolutely loved it!!
First of all, I loved Vi! She was such an awesome heroine!! I loved her wit, her confidence, and although she resists Lach at first because she thinks she always needs to be in control, she surrenders and opens herself up to him fairly quickly. It was refreshing that she didn't spend all her time fighting him and she just let it be. It was exactly what I needed right now and she was just an awesome bada-s!
Now, onto the deliciousness that is Lachlan Pierce and damn, that man is fine! He's a dancer/male stripper with an Australian accent and if you think that's hot, just wait until you actually get inside his head! I swear, he is so funny and sweet and seriously, just the best guy ever. He might seem like an a--hole at first, but he's really not and he completely stole my heart. I positively adored him!
Whipped, as I've said, is a fast read and it's also a short read. It's perfect if you want a light book that will make you laugh and smile, but will also pinch your heart a little, but not too much.
I can't possibly tell you everything I loved about this book, but I'll tell you a few of my top favorites. First, I loved that the conflict wasn't about Vi and Lach's relationship, it was more about external issues. Next, the characters were all amazing, especially Vi's parents – they were just hilarious!
Another big thing for me was the humor. Oh my gosh, the paintball scene was just the best. I seriously had tears in my eyes reading it and that rarely happens. The last thing that I loved was how relaxed and happy this book made me feel. It put a lot of big smiles on face because of all of those moments and how great of a couple Vi and Lachlan were. It was a fabulous book and I can't wait to read about all these characters again!
Whipped is a standalone, it has a HEA, and it's told from both Lach and Vi's POV. ~ Paige, 5 stars

Lachlan is a male dancer/stripper. He had done a lot of tours with his group, but has decided to take a break to fulfill a different dream of his. He is quite a player, and takes interest in Vi right away. When he moves in, Vi makes sure they have a rule that they won't have sex. But how long will that really last?

Whipped is the second book in Hitched series. the book is stand-alone and can be read before the first but it is recommended to start with Hitched.
Whipped... Whipped is good... well okay it's not a disappointment but not as good as is expected. the thing is I personally cannot feel the chemistry between our hero and heroine here.. there is no struggle... no nothing.. it's a simple convenient coincident...
Hitched was great and I was hoping that Whipped would be the same... it's not. I admit that there are cute moments and some of the parts I really like that I think they are very smart & witty... but they are just not making up for the flaws.
Since the book is just recently published i would leave this review relatively spoiler free for now.
Overall it's a good book, the ending is okay but there are many parts that are rushed, too. And as i say... I cannot feel the chemistry so yeah...

Sweet, sassy and sexy! Vi is Kacie and Tate's best friend from HITCHED! Vi owns WHIPPED,a sex toy establishment and refuses to get involved with the Hot Aussie guy who's one of her biggest customers. Lachlan is a proud male stripper who is trying to raise money to open a community center to help young at risk teenagers the same way someone once helped him. I was laughing so hard (especially their Paintball date ROTFLLLL) and salivating all the same.
Definitely a great read if you're looking for a quick read that will satiate all palates.

This was a fun book. I loved the character, but wish there had been more conflict. After the first couple of chapters the conflict b/w the characters was minimal. I had fun reading it.

Book two in the Hitched series by the husband and wife duo of Karpov Kinrade. I loved book one and was really looking forward to reading Whipped and I am happy to say that I was not disappointed. This husband and wife duo really knows how to write a book. They bring the sexy, the sweet, and the HEAT. This book does contain sex and cussing but not in a trashy sense. The sweet moments are beyond great, from a hot air balloon ride, to a fort that takes over a whole house, to helping the underprivileged kids in the community. This book isn't just about the sex, there is a real story here and I think everyone should read it. We first meet Vi in Hitched, she was Kacie's best friend and a Dom. Now we saw the intense side of her in that book but this one we see the vulnerable side. We see why she decided to quite being a Dom and open up a sex toy store. We also see why she broke it off with Chad and why she is worried about starting something with Lachlan. Now Lachlan job is quite interesting and when you find out what it is and you get a picture of what he really looks like in your head you can see how he might succeed in that world. Only he is trying to change and he wants to do something good for the world, for kids that are growing up just like him. He is a good guy underneath all the other things. Can they both change to try and get past their pass and make a new start? And will that new start be together or will it only be one night? We also get to catch up with Sebastian and Kacie, and we get to meet their beautiful twins, we get to see what Tate is up up to and we get to see some more of Zoe. I do hope either Tate or Zoe get a book next. These authors did a great job writing this book and the one before so I hope they plan on writing more in this series. Go get lost in the night life that Vegas can offer and have fun meeting new characters.

I hate that I didn't read the first book in this series. I know that if I like this book then the first one had to be great.
Now if you love to read books that are hot, I will just tell you that this one is even HOTTER. It's a book that really makes you sit up and take notice. I couldn't seem to put this book down. I've taken several days after reading this book to decide what I would write for this review. I still don't know how to put all my words down. I have read several books by this author and really enjoyed them. So I sorta knew what I would get into once I opened my kindle.
I loved every single character in this book and can't really say anything wrong about one. I loved Vi and her whole personality. To know that she went from being a Dom. to half running a sex shop. She's not afraid to talk to anyone from dildos to vibrators. I really enjoyed the old woman and her bridge buddies. I'm not going into detail about it, I will leave it up to you to read it and see what I'm talking about. Everyone takes books differently and what you like might not be what I like.

This book is book two in the series ! It's best to read hitched first but this book can be read as a standalone book.
I absolutely loved this book , it was full of fun times , sexy talk and hot hot sex ! Who doesn't love a book that can make you all hot and bothered ! I certainly do .
This book is about VI , Vi owns a sex shop called whipped with her close friend . It begins were numerous times a sexy Aussie named Lachlan with a dirty mouth who comes to the shop to buy sex toys for his sexual partners. Vi is looking for a person to help rent her place with her . In walks Lachlan who she didn't suspect it would be .
Lachlan is stripper and gets the attention of all the women but in reality he wants to open a youth centre that can teach young kids how to dance and a place they would feel they can come too . He wants to open this centre to ensure kids can have fun and can come to a stable and safe environment .Lachlan's past wasn't the greatest with his parents and he wants to be able to give kids a better life than what he had endured .
There are some twists and turns with this part of the story , there are lots of downs and massive highs . But the end result is so awesome . I loved how Lachlan wanted to open this centre for young kids to help them .
This story was sort of a Insta love and was fast paced ! This couple was made to be and I absolutely loved all there encounters . The sex was hot and incredible . This story had such a catchy storyline and it didn't get you bored when you were half way through .

Move over Magic Mike, Lachlan Pierce has arrived!
Vi was one of my favorite characters in Hitched, and I was so excited to find out she'd be getting her own story. And, My God was is a HOT one!!
The sexual chemistry between Vi and Lach was palpable from the get go and it was more a question of when they'd get together, than if. And when they did, it was explosive, passionate and sexy as hell.
What I really loved about this book was how fun the characters all were, and I really have to give a big shout out to Vi's parents. OMG! They were hilarious and brilliant. I also enjoyed the way Vi and Lach's relationship grew and developed, and the small changes I started seeing in each of them the deeper they fell. It was also great that neither of them was harboring some huge big secret or a dark past that would eventually threaten to tear them apart. They faced minor obstacles but were able to find their way through each.
Lach was actually such a sweet guy. At first glance he seemed to be a real player, and yes he was, but his dedication and loyalty to Vi showed him to be something completely different. I liked seeing many different sides of him. And the paintball scene was a hoot! I loved seeing this big, strong guy having his ass, and other body parts, handed to him while his girl kicked ass - for the most part anyway.
If you are looking for a fun and sexy read that will be sure to melt your ereader, this is the book to grab. It was a quick, witty read filled with characters you'll fall in love with.

I loved seeing this big, strong guy having his ass, and other body parts, handed to him while his girl kicked ass - for the most part anyway.
If you are looking for a fun and sexy read that will be sure to melt your ereader, this is the book to grab. It was a quick, witty read filled with characters you'll fall in love with.

I don't know if it's really fair to rate a book when I haven't finished it but I'm doing it!
This book just became too frustrating for me to finish. I loved the idea and even liked most of the story but it was all just so badly put together that it irritated the hell out of me! The writing was pretty bad and the characters changed personalities every chapter.
Vi spent book one a feisty Dominatrix and started book 2 a confident and feisty sex toy shop owner. I liked this, it was different and I liked Vi. Then in walks Lach, who was sexy and cocky and just plain dirty. But as soon as the two of them are put together? (and I mean AS SOON AS) Lach becomes soft and cheesy and romantic while Vi becomes a silly girl who swoons every 2 seconds and enjoys a supposed 'Alpha Male'
But really, Lach isn't much of an alpha male and Vi clearly isn't into submissive men like we've been told again and again, or any of the kinky things we were lead to expect her Dominatrix ways to want, either. It was like we were meeting two entirely new characters. Everything I liked about them had vanished and it just became another predictable and thus boring story.
I had to give this 2 stars for the cover, because I love it, and for the idea, because it really could have been great. I just felt like it was handled badly.

This is the second book in the Hitched series that follows Kacie's friend Vi and her hot Aussie roommate/boyfriend.
Who would have thought that the roommate she needed for a temporary situation would turn in to be the guy she needed for life.
From the very beginning it made me smile or laugh (and one time cry) about something on almost every page. KK does a great job of telling the story and intermixing in her characters breaking the fourth wall with some of the things they say or do.
From the moment I started to read this book I only put it down because I had to! Whipped is a fast paced book whose plot moved forward in to a perfect ending. I love how Vi and Lach meet (and how neither of them knew they were going to) as well as what they do for jobs and how they are able to be together in spite of them.
I do wish though there was more story about Vi being a dominatrix and how if she still did it how it would effect her relationship.
I have to say I enjoyed this one better than Hitched so I can only imagine what the next one will be like!

We first meet Vi in Hitched. This is her book called Whipped.
Vi Reynolds owns a sex toy shop during the day and is a Dom at night. She has a customer that comes in a lot and they have nicknamed him “Aussie Hottie”. He comes in a lot with different woman every time. When he shows up as the person interested in renting her room she is hesitant at renting it to him. He is trying to reduce his expenses to be able to help build a community center. But he is having trouble leaving his previous work to pursue his charity work.
There is funny scenes mixed in with some really smoking hot ones. Sometimes I did feel that there was too much detail in some scenes. Overall I did enjoy it and it was a very nice book. This wasn’t exactly what I expected after reading the synopsis but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Kacie and Sebastian from Hitched do make appearances in this one which was nice. I am going to bet the next book will be about Tate and Zoe. I recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and sexy afternoon read.

I went into this not know anything except she's a Dominatrix and he's an alpha. I fell in love with these two. So sexy and sweet with none of the games we read so much of these days. Just two awesome people who are falling in love.
Lachlan was honest and sweet and incredibly sexy. He also knew what he wanted and fought for it. I loved that about him, he has this big heart and this amazing dream of what he wants his life to be like. He is so cool. Picture Channing Tatum in Magic Mike but with a brain. LOL
Vi... The Sex shop owning Dominatrix. She is no nonsense, sassy & just a honest and sweet person. Both of these characters were a breath of fresh air. I was so tired of flighty virgins who need a big strong man to boss them around. Vi is strong willed but also so loving.
It was SO funny... OMG the paintball scene... I cried I laughed so hard. I loved how playful and hilarious they both were. There wasn't some evil sinister enemy out to destroy their happiness. It was simply a wonderful love story and I enjoyed the ride so much.

Whipped is the second book in the Hitched series, and can be enjoyed as a standalone. While I read Hitched and really enjoyed it, Whipped took the cake!
Vi is an ex-Dom who recently opened a sex shop, Lach is the lead in a male strip show. When their life's suddenly become intertwined, the sparks start to fly. The question is, will they be able to escape the sparks before they both succumb to the sexual tension?
Two of the things that I most loved about this book, was the level of pure sexual energy that was found between Vi and Lach, as well as their easy and free flowing banter that brought me to laughter. The writing of the book was a work of art, that made it hard to put down. The erotic scenes were intense and could melt panties. The characters were also complex and I was easily able to fall in love with Lach and his many facets (I came into this book already in love with Vi from Hitched).

What can I say Karpov Kinrade did it again. Their writing style is excellent. I love how the story just flows so much so that it was hard to put the book down. Even though this book includes characters from their first book you can read this one as a stand alone. Although I would recommend reading Hitched first and going in order so you know the back story of the other characters. There was some hot sex in the story but it wasn't page after page like other books. There was actually a storyline. Other books get boring going into too much detail about the persons life and I will actually skim over paragraphs. This one gives you the idea and doesn't focus on every little thing, it keeps moving and so for me it kept me hooked and I kept turning the pages. I was disappointed when it actually got to the end. I want to know more about their story! I love these characters and I am really hoping that the authors keep the series going and we find out about the other characters lives.

You have Vi that is a dominatrix that steps away from it to open a sex toy shop with her friend and the you have Lachlan the Australian Stripper that is wanting to open a community center for children to have somewhere to go to after school and learn to dance to stay out of trouble.
To me it just seemed to lack something and it seemed to be very predictable. Vi needs a roommate and who shows up at her door, the Australian stripper that she has seen multiple times in her sex store with a different girl buying toys.
I like a little drama and heartache in my books with the HEA at the end. this is what I feel that it seems to lack. Not saying that this book was a total flop, just saying that I didn't like it as well as Hitched.

OMG ok so this is the second book to hitched I was given a arc copy in exchange for a review!!! Let me tell you I was shocked!!!!! The first book was awesome totally changed my mind on romance novels which is pretty big since I really hated just romance. The only down side to hitched was there were just a few spot that I lost interest but only like two literally. Other wise great book. Now Whipped completely had me taken back I could not put the book down for the life of me OMG it is that good. Funny, whitty, and Oh so sexy. I love Vi so much and the aussies where just to die for it is a must read. You must pre-order like now you won't regret it promise. Another hit with this one guys great job Karpov family!!!!!!!!!

I loved this one. Vi sells adult toys and occasionally takes clients as a Dom. Her last relationship didn't work out and she's still recovering from that. Lachlan is a frequent customer who comes into her store with a different girl every time. Sure, he's hot, but she doesn't want to go there. Not to mention she normally goes for the submissive type. This is just so funny. And there is just something about a player who finds the right woman and forgets about all other women. There is plenty of steam, but plenty of laughs as well. I loved their dates. Just fun. I liked this one as much as Hitched. You don't have to have read Hitched, but we do get a nice glimpse of Kacie and Sebastian. I recommend this series if you like romance that is steamy and funny.

I LOVED Hitched. It made me laugh and it was 5 stars from me.... unfortunately Whipped fell flat for me.
Vi owns a sex shop and used to be a dominatrix, yet it wads barley mentioned in the book. Maybe once or twice. I thought it was going to be comedy gold, and I was kind of let down.
I wasn't a huge fan of Vi. The story was kind stale for me. Vi has to get a roommate cause she needs money. The roommate happens to be the hot guy who has been hitting on her at her store. He is a man whore, nut not anymore since he wants to be with Vi.......

Wow! This is a true feel good book.
The storyline is strong and the pace of the book is just right....ideas and threads are fully developed but the story never drags.
Vi and Lachlan are prepossessing characters and it was wonderful to watch their relationship evolve.
The supporting characters are well written...and all have their part to play in the story arc.
The author has a very light touch and a sense of humour....I smiled and giggled.....a lot!
I really enjoyed this book and will be catching up on others by Karpov Kinrade

When i first read the synopsis, i was expecting a Fifty Shades like story but having read Hitched i somehow knew this would be different. What i didn't expect was the Magic Mike like dancing & performances in it..and i love it! I've always loved a book with the POV of both characters because i want to know what the other is thinking as well..i love the humor, i kept laughing at their banters & Vi's parents..sooo cool! And of course getting a glimpse of Kacie & Sebastian's life after Hitched. Now i'll be waiting for Tate & Zoe's story :)
