A Good Story
I enjoyed this steamy, well-written story. Isobel was jilted at the altar and ran out of the church to avoid seeing people. She was distraught. She bumped into Duke Andrew as he was out walking. He seemed amused by her plight and they were instantly argumentative. When Andrew heard what had happened, he realised Isobel could help him as he needed a wife to restore his reputation. After hesitstion from Isobel, they agreed to marry. She settled in well but Andrew was constantly thinking about the club that he owned and often put the club's needs before Isobel's. When danger and disaster occurred, Andrew needed to decide his priorities. Would he put Isobel first or would he keep the idea of the club as his priority?
I like the interaction with the new puppy, Chance. I thought Isobel's father was a very poor example of a father.
A good story.
