A Good Story

I enjoyed this steamy, well-written story. Isobel was jilted at the altar and ran out of the church to avoid seeing people. She was distraught. She bumped into Duke Andrew as he was out walking. He seemed amused by her plight and they were instantly argumentative. When Andrew heard what had happened, he realised Isobel could help him as he needed a wife to restore his reputation. After hesitstion from Isobel, they agreed to marry. She settled in well but Andrew was constantly thinking about the club that he owned and often put the club's needs before Isobel's. When danger and disaster occurred, Andrew needed to decide his priorities. Would he put Isobel first or would he keep the idea of the club as his priority?
I like the interaction with the new puppy, Chance. I thought Isobel's father was a very poor example of a father.
A good story.

Speak truth to Love

This is the story of Andrew and Isobel and how their truths brought them the love they were looking for… but getting to that place wasn’t easy, both were somewhat crippled with various fears that needed conquering..

I like the plot line and what brought them together ..I also enjoy the extended players in the book that were well flushed out (chance 🐕)…especially Joan who I think deserves her own book… for being younger, she was far wiser.

I very much enjoyed the book and do recommend it for sure.. the reason for the 4 stars, was because I felt that both Andrew and Isobel’s fears were to much of a crutch that they kept falling back on… it became a bit of a peeve for me …. Have read and reviewed many of Ms. Lovatt’s books and have enjoyed them all 🥂

The ton will never be the same.

Sometimes knowledge comes from unique places, Belle Lovatt brings this to light in this story. Her heartfelt characters face adversity, shared difficulties, and explore a love that can not be found just anywhere. The ton will never be the same.

Who is the Duke of Fox?

An intriguing story of being jilted, an unexpected proposal, and a marriage of convenience! But of course there are lots of twists and turns before everything come to a conclusion! Very worth reading!

I think this author is a very good writer but would be even better without the sex.

I enjoyed the first two books in this series, but could not identify with the characters or narrative in this one. I didn't finish this book / stopped after reading four chapters.
