RD must have realized what a great trio Shy, Muscle, and Beast are because this book is a continuation to their story! I was super excited to see another novella dedicated to them because they totally won me over in Double Trouble.
This short story follows Muscle. Prior to joining the Bedlam Butchers, Muscle had served some time with the military in Afghanistan. He had endured some painful experiences that left him suffering with PTSD. Beast and Shy can see that he is slowly spiraling out of control but are unsure of how to help him. When an enemy of the gang turns out to be an old friend of Muscle, he completely shuts down - leaving Beast and Shy to pick up the pieces.

this was an extremely quick read. Shy, was definitely in need of help and this trio not only came to life but were perfect together.

Shy's story continues... I wasn't expecting this... I would have preferred if there was only one book. This book was ok, fast-passed and steamy.

This is just a short little continuation of Beast, Muscle, and Shy's story from the previous book. This picks up two weeks after the end of book three in the series.
I really like this couple! They are super entertaining to read about. However, I did not like his one as much as the previous book, so that is why I am giving it half a star less.

I just finished Double Down and I just loved it. Im a biker girl through and through and this did not disappoint. This follows the Bedlam Butchers MC club and this continues the story for Shy, Muscle and Beast. Shy is Shy for a reason, had to be with her brother so when she is now protected and owned by them but there are some issues with the other ole ladies and sweetbutts and she will have to learn to defend herself. We also have Muscle having his past come back to haunt him. Will he learn to let things go so they can all be happy? Please read and see what happens. Trust me, it hot and sexy and you will love it!

The continuation of Shy, Beast and Muscle's story did not disappoint. Actually, I was surprised how much I was engrossed into the story about Shy's struggle with club bitches and old ladies and Muscle's haunted past and I wished to be much, much longer.

I am a HUGE fan of this series. The Motorcycle Clubs books have become something I look forward to every month. I may or may not stalk the authors in hopes that releases come early.
I don't want to give away anything on the storyline because, well, it would give away details from all the previous Bedlam books and I loathe spoilers. So what I will talk about is how wonderfully Ruby Dixon spins a story. I swear even though these are novellas I never, ever feel like they were lacking in story or depth. Not to mention she writes so freaking AWESOME smut. If you aren't into kinky fuckery you should probably find a different series to go with because there is some serious m/f/m action going on in the Bedlam Butchers. HOT!!
Total Five stars with five drenched panties for smut. A must read!!

The second book in the Shy, Muscle and Beast trilogy, this one picks up right after the last one. In this book, Shy is trying to find her place in the club and with the guys.
This book was great, lots of sexy time, i actually like Shy as a character, Beast is great as usual and Muscle has grown on me since the first book where I could have left his ass on the curb.
My only disappointment was the scene in the restaurant. When Beast puts the vibrator in Shy I was like heck yes! This is gonna be good! But then it got ruined by Shy getting bullied by a sweetbutt which confused me bc Shy is an old lady and therefore sweetbutts are inferior in the MC world and not allowed to speak to them with anything other than respect. Then she gets bullied by old ladies who don't think she's worthy or something so she goes and has a cry in the bathroom all the while the guys are pressing the remote. So she's not only being bullied but embarrassed bc she's on the edge of having a big O. She's upset by this but doesn't pull it out? Like mood ruined, nope not happening.
She does however earn her respect in the end and I like how it ended. I really like this threesome better than Gem, Dom and Kitty.
I think Ruby Dixon does awesome work in the smut realm. Will anything top IPB? Probably not but it's a good fix while waiting for the next one.

(And just to be clear—it’s not that the MMCs are hitting the FMC! But I still can’t get behind a book or series that takes place in an environment where that kind of behavior is normalized or enabled.)
Also, I hated the scene with the vibrator—specifically the part where Domino and Gemini are given the remote without Shy knowing. So two random men she has no romantic connection or trust with are given control of the vibrator inside her, and she assumes it’s one of the MMCs doing it? All of that just to prove she can “fit in” with the tough MC crowd? It was degrading and honestly just made her seem like a joke to them.
(Also, it was really weird considering Domino and Gemini already have their own romance going on—they’re the MMC's of the second novella in the series.)

I'm so happy we're finally getting different POVs. This story has all three of theirs and the story is based off Muscle and someone from his military past comes back into his life which causes him to pull away from Shy. It's all a very sad past story and Muscle is haunted by it. Poor Shy has to finally find her spot in the club where she fits in, among the women that is.
Beast was attentive as ever and is probably my favorite Bedlam Butcher brother, he really speaks his mind and give Muscle a good shake when he needs it.

Shorter than the others, almost like it could have been folded in to one of the other books to be a duology instead of trilogy. And while I like Shy standing up for herself, I want to know where she got the moves. Just from watching the Butchers training? Something else?
Loved seeing Easy and Michigan, though! The way the threads are winding together is really well done. Fun times!

Notes: it was quite an interesting book, I wish it had more of Beast's troubles but I'm glad Muscle solved his conflict. Also, Muscle and Beast are NOT straight at all. None of them are, thank you very much.

This trio is the best in the series so far. Geniunely cute relationship. I wish I got to see the beat down from Shy'a point of view. I love characters that seem weak but when they flip a switch they go straight to 100.
