A heartwarming Christmas story as we go back to Crescent Creek and the Caffeinated Fox and discover more about Cassie and her mother's ambitions. We also meet Nathan who has come back home to his family's Christmas Tree farm to help following his father's ill health. When a plot is uncovered that affects the farm, the question is can the town do anything to stop it. This is a beautiful story that epitomizes the Christmas spirit and how important it is. With a touch of drama and suspense and some romance, this is the perfect cosy Christmas read in one of my favourite towns.

Loved this holiday themes paranormal romance with fated mates trope. Cassie and Nathan had amazing chemistry and banter. They were relateable and engaging - incredibly likeable. Preston, however, would have been a great snake shifter for all the slimey things he did, and his hoity-toity attitude. This story drew your attention to the constant desire of children to please their parents, but also the need to stand their ground at some point. The magic of the season surrounded Cresent Hollow when one of the resident families needed help. I loved reading about the community coming together in such a unifying way. These two made such a cute couple, they deserved for everyone to acknowledge it.

After re-reading the entire series, I fell in love with them all over again. This story made me feel so warm & fuzzy...
While this story returns to Crescent Creek, things are under the weather with the main characters.
Cassie who takes care of the coffee shop that has been in the family for ages. She meets the charismatic Nathan who has returned home to help out his parents. They bump into each other a few times & sparks fly high.
In the end, they are united with sharing their personal feelings, thoughts & helpfulness.
Anyhow, Thanks to Jennifer for this amazing trio of stories that melted my heart just before Christmas!!!

What a perfect Christmas five-star read. This was quick and easy, and just a really lovely story, Cassie and Nathan will wow you, and Cassie will make you smile so big, as she has a way with coffee that warms you, and she stands up for herself and just makes herself so strong. Do not miss this great novella.
