I had the fortune to read the arc for Resolution and have to say that this is the perfect Horror novella to end the year with.
Follow Mazie as she finds herself caught in a storm and seeks rescue at a hotel by the road.

IF YOU LOVE A GOOD PSYCHOLOGICAL HORROR THRILLER THAT IS FAST PACED THIS IS A MUST READ!!
I had zero clue what to truly expect with this one and TL Hodel blew me away in the best of ways here. She gives you that old school eerie vibes where you know something is wrong and yet you keep going because you need to know why the goose bumps or little hairs go up then hits you with a ton of psychological twist & turns.
This one brought out feels of all those old school horror movies where you question everyone and everything as the story unfolds and before the clock strikes midnight on the new year what will happen next . It has a twisted depraved cat & mouse game rolled into a second chance here. Be ready to experience some seriously dark twisted emotional moments that leads to a wild ending.
You can expect twists, turns, suspense, horror vibes, depraved spice, gore, questionable characters, mystery, intrigue, and an ending that leaves you to wonder and ponder what happens afterwards.
A definite must read for any reader who loves a good horror suspense read that is quick but still fully immerses you into this thriller like suspense filled novella. Hands down a quick must read!!

This is a dark and twisted psychological thriller centered around regret, guilt, and the haunting consequences of past decisions. The story centers around Mazie, who is desperately running from a past filled with tragedy. Looking for safety from a storm, Mazie ends up at the Craven, where things quickly spiral into a series of eerie and unsettling events involving two brothers, Felix and Flynn. As the story progresses, the lines between reality and delusion blur, pulling you into torturous chaos. She must ultimately face a life altering decision, stay and become part of Craven or move on and leave everything behind. The twists in this book are phenomenal and you’ll find yourself questioning what is real and what isn’t right up until the shocking ending. If you’re a fan of dark thrillers that keep you on the edge of your seat, Resolution is a must read.

What a thrilling, adrenaline rush. I could picture everything perfectly in my mind, as if I was actually watching a horror film. Even though Resolution is a quick read, the world building is so precise and the characters are spot on with their creepiness and yet somewhat attractiveness. Yes please I need more of The Craven.

Maisie is caught in a storm and takes refuge in The Craven Hotel and it's one of those times she should've trusted her instincts when she felt the place wasn't as it seemed!!
Especially when she comes face-to-face with The Ringmaster & The Mime!!!

Haunting.
I've read lots of dark romance by this author and it's all excellent. This venture into horror is haunting and a bit spicy as well as thought provoking.

What a chilling little thriller. It’s short enough to devour in one sitting but long enough to tell the story and connect with the characters. It’s spicy, bloody and the ending will give you goosebumps.

Wow! I absolutely HATE horror movies... but I guess I love reading horror books, especially if Tara writes them! That was quite the ride. A storm leaves Mazie with only one option for shelter, the Craven Hotel, where guests are seen coming, but never seen leaving! It's a quick read but I hope we get more from this world in the future!
