Someone is wearing his name.
And they’re turning it into a weapon.

There’s a new Silencer on the city beat, one who’s setting up fake robberies and taking credit for stopping them. But the act doesn’t stop at playing the hero. The good deeds quickly turn dark as the impostor starts taking for himself.

Now Recker and his team have to find who’s behind the mask before The Silencer’s name is destroyed, and the damage becomes permanent.

Interesting premise poorly executed

A copy cat Silencer, that ends up being far more than just someone trying to earn a few quid
The idea is something I'm surprised has not happened earlier, given this is book 25, yet here it is and it's a good idea. However the issue for me is the circumstances that relate to it all
Given there are so many corrupt cops, both still in the job and those already kicked out, you wonder how a Police force could even function
On top of that, you have gun fights in broad daylight, that don't even attract a response and the ability to surpress information , so the media ignores the event entirely
All a tad contrived in the end, but still entertaining enough
