What if true authority isn’t found in striving or dominance, but in surrender? What if courage roars loudest when it comes from sacrificial love?
In The Heart of Roaring Lambs, international speaker and author Leif Hetland, with Paul Yadao, invites believers to discover the sacred tension at the center of the gospel, the bold authority of the Lion of Judah and the humble heart of the Lamb of God.
This is a message for every follower of Jesus who longs to live from identity, not performance. You were created to walk in Kingdom authority and Christlike humility, fully alive, fully aligned, wholly His.
Too often, the Church exalts one nature while neglecting the other. But in heaven’s design, the love of lambs softens hearts so the roar of lions can be heard. Only when we embrace the brokenness of the Lamb are we entrusted with the breakthrough of the Lion.
This is not just a call to action, it’s a call to identity. To be chosen, blessed, broken, and given. To live from rest, not striving. To carry the heart of the Lamb and speak with the voice of the Lion.
God is raising up a generation of roaring lambs—sons and daughters who live from the Father’s love and transform the world with His power.
I loved The Heart of Roaring Lambs. I have spent so much of my life vacillating between the lamb and the lion and never understood which one to walk in. Leif and Paul show how to walk as a “roaring lamb” just as Jesus did by following his lead: emptying ourselves and becoming an obedient servant. It is out of this emptying of ourselves and spending time in his presence that we become who we are truly made to be! This gives me great hope and encourages me to sit in the Lord‘s presence and live out of the transformation that takes place!
