Space Cop
This novel is featuring United federation of Earth Naval Criminal Investigative Service agent Anita Rowlson. We follow her through the various cases that she’s assigned to by her Boss, Jane Maples, who’s in charge of NCIS for the UFE.
Anita is a survivor of Mankind’s Redirection as depicted in Mankind’s Return series of novels. She was conceived prior to The Redirection as her mother was the survivor and she was born soon afterward.
In the first chapter of this novel, she discovers “Data” the intelligent machine that was a product of the inhabitants of the Universe in a prior iteration, who didn’t survive the current Big Bang that brought the Universe as we know it into being.
Anita prevails, although undergoes many close calls in her adventures. She’s assisted by another agent who is a “second generation” survivor; Tina Samuel. They’ve been very close friends for over fifteen thousand years.
They’re assisted by their very good friend Bill Dorn who is the son of Fred MacGregor and one of the survivors. You can learn all of the background in the series of novels; Mankind’s Redirection.
Space Cop has been quite fun to write and it will hold your attention from the very first chapter.
This story has a lot of relevant plot twists, laced with practicality, sex, and is based on sound science and modern crime analysis.
