I'm reviewing a new book by Linda Thomas-Sundstrom Moonstone. With so many Paranormal Romance books out there, it's hard to find a fresh, original one, but Linda Thomas-Sundstrom doesn't disappoint. She's given us a great new PNR with Moonstone. In the story we have a super handsome shape shifter Matt Morrison, and 3 young women Jenny, Mandy, and Robin who are on vacation in Arizona. Add a bit of magic with Jenny having some secrets of her own, a budding romance, and some dangerous, wreckless hunters, and you have all you need for this exciting book! Check it out, I know you'll enjoy it.

One magic necklace, one beautiful school teacher, one hot local doctor with a secret.
Moonstone brings them all together with a Hallmark story meets Supernatural vibe.

Jenny and her friends are on a girls getaway in Arizona, a outdoorsy break from their lives in Colorado. Matt is whole lot of hotness, patrolling the trails on the day of a full moon to ensure he and his packmates are safe to answer the call of the moon that night.
Hot doctor most days, the one night each month he needs to run free just happens to be the same day he meets Jenny on a trail and is inexplicably drawn to her

The necklace Jenny mysteriously received on her 16th birthday from an unnamed person has been like a talisman since, the polished stone providing comfort over the years.
And now it has seemed to awaken, taking on a magical life of its own – or activated something deep inside Jenny that calls to Matt. The mysterious light that shines when she holds the pendant and thinks of him, acts like a beacon and pull him to her like a Siren’s song. Humans aren’t supposed to know about the secret society of werewolves living among them but Matt can’t stay away. Somehow the magic has prompted them to imprint on one another, two strangers who shouldn’t be together.
But this isn’t just a wolf-meets-girl love story. The excitement builds as a female wolf stalks Jenny at her cabin, ridiculously jealous and determined to hurt or kill her to eliminate the competition. Add to the mix the hunters roaming the night and things start to get dicey.
The story continues to build, becoming a bit of a mystery as it moves forward to its climax. It seems a girl can love a werewolf she just met, after all.
But one of the standout things to note in this particular book is that it’s refreshingly innocent. There is definitely build-up but, between the friends and the gunshots, our couple is relegated to some really hot and heavy…kissing. And in the end, the two have something the reader can smile about: something to look forward to.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and believe others will, too.

When Jenny and her two girl friends take a trip to the mountains in Colorado for a girls trip. She brings along the beautiful necklace that was sent to her by a secret admirer. What she didn't know was that necklace was a powerful talisman that would bring her to the man of her dreams and let her see what he was in the dark on a full moon. They are put in a scary situation with hunters that seem to be hunting the wolves on the mountain . Will the man she met on the trail be able to keep her safe and will they be able to deny the chemistry that is happening between them .

Well we have such fun characters in this story. Jenny who is a sweet woman who wants to find out what the moonstone does and why can she call to the mystery man she met on the mountain. She is a gutsy woman who will do almost anything to figure it all out even putting herself in danger to help out Matt, who is having a hard time forgetting the woman who blew into his life . He can't get enough of her and has this uncontrollable urge to protect her. He is actually the strong silent type that can melt you into a puddle with one word or one action. He has the world on his shoulders and also a secret that if gotten out could end his life. These characters are so well written and I love the tension that they have when they are around each other . Then we get the comic relief of Jenny's two best friends Mandy and Robin. They do bring some comic relief to them when things go wrong and they can't figure out what the heck is going on.

This is one of those stories that you will sit down and read all in one sitting . I did that . This author has a way of writing that will suck you in to the story and keep you turning the pages until you are finished. The characters are well written and diverse. You will fall in love with each and everyone of them. So if you want a good book with lots of tension check it you will love it and its a great book for a cold evening

MOONSTONE by LINDA THOMAS – SUNDSTROM 1/26 5 stars
Jenny & Matt

As always, the author has created unique paranormal characters. Her human characters are strong and ready for romance even with the difference.

Jenn is on vacation with friends who are less athlete and less open minded. Things are gonna change the relaxing days turn dangerous and steamy.

Don't miss the new tale and hot guys.

Jenny and her friends rent a place in the woods at the top of the Colorado Mountain to relax and unwind..with only a landline. As Jenny is drawn to handsome man strange things begin to happen. An edge of your seat read with action, suspense and. Received a free copy and am voluntarily posting an honest review.

Really liked this one! Moonstone was a fun werewolf read and kept me interested the whole way through. I liked the characters and thought the story was easy to get into. If you like werewolves or paranormal books, it’s worth picking up.
