Middle Grade Hunting Book
Full of actual tips and tricks on how to now hunt elk — useful for young hunters, of course, but also fascinating to the general audience, no hunting necessary!
Father-son bonding.
Unique adventure!

An easy read and keeps your attention. Luke was thoughtful and respectful of the elk. He and his dog have a great bonding experience. Glad the hunting scene wasn’t too graphic.

I read this book out loud to my children, my son age 6 especially loved it. I liked how he described some hunting terms that may be unfamiliar to non-hunters. It was about Luke and his dad going hunting in Montana and Luke’s adventure of finding a big muddy elk during a bow hunt. Clean and good.
