Worst book I have ever read in my life. I don’t know why I wasted so much time finishing it. Lots of sentences that actually make zero sense to drag out the book. The start of every chapter is repetitive.

A debt to be paid by the gift of his daughter. Jade Fierro gives us a dark Christmas tale wrapped in a flowing language such as ...the gun on the table because ritual is the string you tie around your minds you don't forget the way back...it is a slow read because you don't want to miss anything

Couldn’t finish this book. There was no emotion in the writing even during smut scenes. Felt like AI to be honest. Kept repeating the same things over and over. Made it to 53%. I’ve read hundreds of books and this is only the 2nd one I couldn’t finish.
