I'm pleased there is a non-fiction offering amongst the World Book Day £1 books. There are definitely facts in this book that children will enjoy learning. The information is superficial though, just the facts and no explanation. I didn't like the formatting of the book. The text was at different angles, moving around the page, which I found made it difficult to read. There are lines and arrows showing you the direction to take so the reading order is easy to comprehend. I just didn't enjoy having to turn the book a different way round so often to read the text.

This is a brilliant non fiction book for World Book Day. It’s chock full of funny facts and punchy illustrations. I really enjoyed it.
