Fifteen years ago, my brother disappeared in the Austrian Alps. I was the last person to see him alive. I was also the only one who saw what took him.
No one believed me.
The authorities blamed the mountain. My parents blamed grief. Therapists blamed childhood trauma and an overactive imagination. They all said the same thing.
Monsters aren’t real.
So I did what everyone expected.
I buried it. I buried the memories beneath college, friendships, parties, and a life that was supposed to move on. Eventually... I believed them.
Until one college lecture changed everything.
One centuries-old woodcut.
One terrifying creature with horns.
One name for the monster I’d spent fifteen years convincing myself wasn’t real.
Krampus.
Now I’m back in the mountains where my brother vanished, working alongside a team of cryptozoologists chasing legends.
They’re looking for proof, I’m looking for revenge.
N. Boeyer grew up in a tiny country called the Netherlands. She has been bilingual since she couldn’t wait for the Dutch translations of her favorite books, so she taught herself English. This resulted in her pursuing an English education from the age of twelve, and writing stories followed shortly thereafter. Since she was a teenager, it has been her dream to be a writer, and a writer she has always been at heart.
It took her a while to accept that the pretty boys who talk way too much in her head needed a voice, and her love for queer romance grew bigger with every written word and chapter. She has finally found the guts to share her boys with the world and hopes someone out there will love them as much as she does.
