the scene where he is falling asleep and she asks him how olw was he when he was around her height and afterwords telling him he must've been a very cute boy?
the scene wherr she teases him with a key that opens every lock and unlocks his coat pocket while he is on the phone?
the scene where he is listing off the shoping list and how he wishes to come back home to a warm and music filled apartment while she pretend to be asleep?
the scene where she feels melancholic and ovewhelmed and cries and he just... holds her hand until she isnready to hear his reassurances?

Something I love about this series is how beautifully it portrays the love language of physical touch. The intimacy of it- how gently they handle each other.
This volume did a wonderful job of showing how both characters changed the way each other see the world. Her blindness makes it so that she processes the world differently than most- through touch and sound and smell. He acts as her eyes, and through her, sees all the hidden, subtle beauties of everyday life.
The last chapter of this volume genuinely got me so emotional. Love is real and it’s them. T~T
I want another volume sooo bad, I need more of them.

I feel so genuinely sorry for non-manga readers who crave a unique, delicate, precious, stunningly beautiful story like this one and will never experience the masterpiece that is Veil.

A visual feast for the eyes and a melody for the heart. A masterclass in observing the innate beauty of the 5 human senses, as experienced by an endlessly lovable main character who was born blind.
