I really liked this. I thought it was well written with a unique storyline and interesting characters. I loved that both characters are in the military and witnessing what it’s like for them to have a relationship within the confines of that.
The only reason why I didn’t rate it a little higher is because I didn’t realize this was a prequel novella and would have liked a little more detail as it flowed very quickly in order to set up for Logan and Alex’s actual story. But overall I really enjoyed this and am looking forward to reading the first book in the series and seeing what this author can do with a full novel.

This book, Breaking Point, is the 1st book in the Shattered Valor series. The book blurb was well written, and the book lived up to it. This was a very emotional story with Staff Sergeant Logan Cross critically injured and wanting to die, and Combat medic Lieutenant Alex Pierce is the one to keep him alive. The book had an interesting storyline, wonderful characters with a mix of suspense, anxiety, action, humor, and love!!! I loved this book and will be looking forward to the next book in the series. This story deserves more than 5 stars, thank you Ms. Storm!!!
