Mina ex leaves her with a knife scar on her chin. She makes out with his dad for revenge. Which results in Twin boys.
Ex stalks her, his dad finds out about the baby’s . And that his son is out to kill him and take revenge on her. Not a bad story, got a bit boring in the middle though.

Mina and Roman’s romance was exciting!

This was an action-packed rollercoaster that had me turning the pages anxious to find out what happens next. It starts with a holly-hotness bang; Mina, after her psychotic ex Vitaly cuts her on her jaw – his territorial mark, deliberately finds his father, Roman, and has a (mind-blowing) one-night-stand with him as revenge. Then, she disappears without a trace and he has no clue who she is. The result, a positive pregnancy test and two cute little boys. Mina is trying to survive with her mom and babies when Vitaly finds them. Fate intervenes then and the rest is history. Vitaly’s relationship with his father and the cruelty of his character is so problematic that, to be honest, the taboo factor that she slept with Roman wasn’t even scandalizing in my eyes. Mina and Roman are so perfect for each-other – the age-gab is just a number. A lot of things happen besides Roman’s need to protect what’s his at all cost; healing needs to be done, trust needs to be gained, difficult decisions need to be made in order for those two to truly get their HEA. I liked them both for their strong character and determination – I love when both MCs have this kind of spine in Mafia romances. 4 stars.

This book was better than I expected! Three characters on a journey. Mina wanted revenge on her ex boyfriend Vitaly after he took a knife to her face. Mina walked into Rope the club Vitaly’s father Roman owns. She was on a mission. Roman didn’t know who she was. Roman is a pakhan. This position is passed down from father to son. Vitaly wants what his father has. He tried to kill Roman. Vitaly was determined to get what he wants. Mina got pregnant and had twins by Roman.Roman didn’t know about the boys. His second in command found out about them. Roman knew he needed to get to them and protect them. Roman showed up to Mina’s apartment. He told her to pack up and move into his estate. He could better protect her, her mom and the boys. Roman knows how unstable his son is. Roman tells Mina what he wants to happen. Roman has disowned Vitaly. His son is getting help from someone inside. Roman told Mina he needs to marry her to protect his family from Vitaly. Roman knows his son better than anyone. Vitaly will keep coming from Roman. Roman is a step ahead of his son. Vitaly is power hungry and wants it all! Roman has to decide what is more important. He is taking steps to protect his young sons. This book was good. I would recommend this.

Ok so I normally do not read dark romance but I thought i would give it a try and I’m kind of glad I did. So I’m not much for the whole bdsm thing I kind of still don’t care to read books with that type of thing in them but I’m glad this was only a bit mentioned in this book. It was more about a Russian mob family type deal and also of course all the spice and boy was it spicy.🌶️ the story was very interesting and intriguing. There was also emotional healing ❤️‍🩹 and growing from hurt and becoming a better person through trial and tribulations. It was romantic and thoughtful and a love through time not right away at first sight it was a good pace. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone trying to dip their toes into the dark romance world it was a good introduction book. I am curious now to read some of the authors other books.

I’ve read many books by this author and love most of them. The way these character communicated seemed stilted and a little off putting initially, and seemed unusual for this author. Eventually, their communication was perfect for how they handled things in their lives and it ultimately smoothed out some. I think the communicated with much more than just words.
These characters weee written to understand that.
That being said, when it comes to waiting for the final shoe to drop, this book will keep you on the edge of your seat.
An outstanding taboo, age-gap, Bratva romance to be savored and enjoyed.

Mina wants to get back at her ex for the way he sliced her face so she goes to his dad's club and seduces him.
A year later she is living in a small apartment with her mom and her twin infants when she sees her ex watching her on her way home from work so she alter her routine.
Roman is doing his work when one of his guys informs him that she could be in trouble since his son has located her and that she has newborn twin boys.
So he goes to her and convinces her that she is not safe and that she needs to go with him.
But that isn't the end.
This takes you inside the workings of the Bratva.

Roman and Mina are the best

This book exceeded my expectations in the storyline. There was a twist at the beginning of the book with the revenge that Mina wanted to exact over her ex-boyfriend Vitaly. When the author push us towards the scene where Mina entered the adult club, called The Rope, and she confidently walked up to the owner-king Roman and seduced him, that was lit, especially Mina’s hasty exit. The story does have the regular Bratva life of assassins, violence, kidnapping, grief, but there are many moments of growth, tenderness, and learning to love again. There is a happy ending. Read On!

This action-packed story draws you in from page one and had me all caught up in Mina, her ex and Roman her ex's father. When he cuts her face, it leaves a lasting scar and a reminder of his cruelty. To get even she connects with his father and gets two pink lines for it. Now she is on the run protecting two lives and trying hard to keep her feelings for Roman in check. Will their relationship turn into one that has a happy ending.

He scarred her face and she plotted revenge. She thought the best way was to seduce his father. It ends up being way for than seduction. Nine months later she has his twins. She doesn't tell. When he finds out its complete takeover. He wants to protect the twins, her mother and her. Because his son is trying to kill him and her but most of all his heirs the twins. This book is intense. I like how the two main characters had strength and strong chemistry. This is an amazing book!.

Not your typical Bratva Story

It’s the first time I’ve read this authors book and I can truthfully say I’m very impressed. I’ve read a few Bratva/ Mafia type of books and I found I really disliked them so much so that I erased all the notices that would announce a new one. This book is the exception. It’s beautifully written, the storyline and characters are well thought out.
It’s exciting and thought provoking. I recommend this book to those that are tired of the Bratva/ Mafia genre, that seems so much of the same storyline told with little deviation.

The Bratva Boss his son's ex girlfriend and the twins she hid from him. Steam!!!

The plot was well written and straightforward. World building was solidly drawn. The characters drove the storyline and they were so very dark and possessive and complex and complicated and deliciously steamy together. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

I love, love this cover! This book had me hooked right away. Mina and Roman have such great chemistry and are so hot. Mina is such a strong female character and can hold her own, but she listens to Roman and follows his lead. She compliments him on every level as the Pakhan's wife, and he loves her more for it. This book is action packed.

Great book

Wow what an incredible page turner. This book had my full attention from the first chapter.
The FMC showed that she was fearless when she executed the perfect plot of revenge by sleeping with her ex’s father.
However, when her ex discovers her secret she is forced to accept his father’s assistance when he shows up on her doorstep a year later looking for answers.
This is a great book. You will not want it to end. Get your copy today.

Moment in Time

Mina and Roman share a moment of intimacy one evening and a year later they reunite to keep her and her children safe. This was a story filled with some triggering moments. It was suspenseful as well as heartpounding. While I was upset in some parts due how certain characters were written, it was surprising to find that my investment added to my reaction.

HEA, Standalone

A few editing issues, but not as bad as some books. Large age gap of 53 to 27. More depth of the characters may have helped. Spicy s*x scenes. MMC is very likeable. FMC makes bad choices but the way it is written she knows it and is trying to do better. No location is given which was distracting. The ending is HEA but there is a twist at the end that makes you feel like there is more to the story. Not sure if there is another book that is linked or not.

Mina just wanted revenge on her ex, but what she got is so much more. Betrayal and threats make this book extra exciting. Roman is very protective of Mina and the twins, which I found very endearing, even though this is a romance on the darker side. Absolutely loved this book and could not get enough.

Suspense and romance

Revenge, sociopathic ex and twists. There is spicy scenes, tenderness, the visual writing is on point. I could smell and feel what was written. The twists and turns brought the story out and I never questioned why something happened or where a plot point came from. Great read!

3 sons

3 sons but one has gone rogue. Scarring one woman and looking to murder his father with a probability that he would kill his brothers shows how this story is going to go. The tension and heat between Mina and Roman is beautiful and knowing there is a happy ending helps get through the tension.

Good Storyline/Not Enough story

I liked this story but I think it was repetitive through out the book. I skipped over parts after awhile because it was the same conversation over and over.
