I had the privilege of being in Autumns Alpha team and I couldn’t be more proud of her, I adore her as a person and her writing is INCRED. She really poured her heart & soul into this book and it really shows. A dark emotional romance with high stakes, tension, morally grey men, loss and reclamation. You will not be disappointed. This modern fantasy will deliver all you could ask for and more, especially if cupcakes are your thing😉 IFYKYK.

Girls, this is the most perfect balance between fantasy and spice; the world building is just the right amount of easy to follow, yet there’s a structure to the world that feels right ✨

The romantasy girlies are gonna love this one! Action right from the first page, following a sassy FMC regaining her power & taking back whats hers. Throw in the political action, the plot twists, 3 hot men & an obsessed blood mage? And we have ourselves Fury of the Bound! The next big WHY CHOOSE😈 romantasy!! Yes. Why choose! And the spice is top tier 🤌🥵

I absolutely loved how hooked on each character I was. And how the action truly sucked you in.
Cannot wait to see what happens next in the series!

Thank you so much to Autumn for letting me be on her ARC team and inviting me into Velmore, I’m genuinely so grateful.

I loved how this book lets you really get to know the characters. By the time I was a few chapters in, I cared for them so deeply. Ronan, my boy… you have my whole heart. The character work is absolutely incredible, and it’s one of the biggest strengths of the story.

The worldbuilding is also fantastic, rich, layered, and easy to sink into. I’ll be honest, the beginning took me a minute to follow, but once things kicked off I was fully in there and didn’t want to stop reading.

The ending was great, and now I’m counting down until we get more. A brilliant read and such a strong instalment! For Autumns first book it is truly an amazing start, I can’t wait to return to Velmore again!

The found family trope is executed perfectly, the characters have so much depth, complexity and growth and the world building is exceptional.

Amazing world building

I am a changed person after reading this.

The world building is next level amazingness.
The characters have depth and meaning and growth.
The spice is there but doesn’t rule the story.
The drama and angst and confusion and magic of the story is so good that I was pulled into this other world and didn’t want to leave.

A fantasy why choose romance with insane plot twists that will have your jaw on the floor whilst simultaneously having you giggling and kicking your feet. This book with have you feeling every emotion. It is beautifully written and fast paced whilst easy to follow the plot. I mean who doesn't love a spicy scene earlier in a book?😉It has the most beautiful character developments, a sarcastic dragon, the hottest smutty scenes ever, a fierce strong FMC and broody morally grey men... I mean. What else do you need?🤩

Oh wow… OH WOW… I am so glad I picked this book up, it had me in a chokehold! From the second I started reading, through to the very end I found myself engaged and waiting to see what happens next. Autumn’s writing was captivating and kept me interested from beginning to end. The world building is amazing and I got to imagine such an incredible place.

Ravena is our FMC and she has been through a gruelling time, she has had to learn to fight and survive on her own, keep hidden the shadows. She has strength like no other, she is a badass and we love a strong FMC. She is stubborn and sticks to her guns and will do absolutely anything for the ones she loves, even if that means endangering herself.

Now let’s get into the juicy stuff… this book is a ‘Why Choose’ and at first I thought it was just between Ravena and two of our delicious men, but when I found out there are FOUR potential men? Well I was in for a treat!

We have Malrik, the blood mage, he is a force to be reckoned with, he is all consuming and possessive and dark. We have Ronan who is the sweetest out of the four, he bakes and his devotion to Ravena is admirable, but he also is strong and fierce when he needs to be. Enter Kieran, closed off, cold and feels incapable of ever loving anyone… except perhaps Ravena…
And finally Darian… the complicated one, fighting an internal battle with himself that is deeper and darker than anyone could imagine.

The ending of this book nearly had me in tears and I was completely gobsmacked. I cannot wait to see what happens next and where Autumn will take this story because I NEED MORE! I night recommend this book to EVERYONE

What a ride! I love a good why-choose romance, and this one really delivered. There’s plenty of insta-lust that slowly melts into real love, and the spice kicks in early — like, 25% early. Ayo.

The found-family element is incredibly heartwarming, and every character has their own baggage to unpack, making their dynamic even richer as they learn to navigate everything together. The ending left me hanging off a cliff, so I’m already excited for the next installment.

Unbelievable!!

Wow!

I bought this one on release and finally got round to it and it did not disappoint!

The character building in this was top tier, i loved Ravena from the start but how much she grew with the book was epic.

I really enjoyed the slow part of her building her harem, the tension with one guy in particular literally had me on edge!

The story itself was easy to follow, as someone still getting used to reading fantasy that is a massive plus for me.

As for the cliffhanger, ummm I have no words except I need the next one asap!

If your a fan of why choose, fantasy, bada** fmc, deranged and lovable mmcs you definitely need to pick this one up!

I need book 2 instantly! Wow wow wow! This book had me intrigued from the very first chapter. I loved the world building & how you could actually imagine how the characters looked thanks to the descriptions. I loved the why choose aspect of the book & the flashes into the past included. There were different characters introduced throughout the book & you saw their development as the book went on. Ravena is a strong FMC & I like how she can take care of herself perfectly fine. Can't wait to read more!

Firstly I would like to thank Autumn for sending me this book (giveaway prize).
The banter, the spice and epic storyline was on point. The only criticism I have is how could you leave me on that cliffhanger 😭. I'm definitely going to pick up book 2 when it comes out. I can't believe this was her debut book it felt like has been writing for ages.

The book had me hooked from the beginning and it had me smiling, laughing and a bit of crying at some points and I wouldn't change anything.

If your into vampire hunters, witches and why choose I definitely think you should pick this up.

This was soooo good! I love a good Romantasy every now and then and I don't think another can top this one.

This book had it all and I liked how detailed everything was. I can't even begin to imagine how amazing it would be to have a dragon as your familiar. 🐉

Malrik was definitely an interesting character and I liked him for Ravena. Ronan is so sweet and also equally perfect for her and I love his nickname for her, "Cherry".

I'm definitely ready for more moments with Kieran, Darian and Ravena and I'm ready to see what happens with Vespera.

I'm definitely excited for the next book!

I'm glad I discovered this author because it's an amazing debut read!

Absolutely amazing. This book started out kinda slow for me, however, it picked up and kept me on edge. There were secrets I wasn't expecting, and answers I STILL DON'T HAVE!!! That ending was just brutal and she knows it.

Fast paced, addictive, and packed with secrets, love, and delicious hatred, this romantasy throws you into magical lands, a gripping plot, and dark truths waiting to be uncovered. It’s one of those reads you cannot put down total page turner vibes. This book is a why choose romance and I fully enjoyed that aspect of it! But I have to say malriks crazy ass is my favourite of the four men.

So so so thankful this Thanksgiving to have gotten to ARC read this book! However, I NEEDED BOOK TWO YESTERDAY!!!
this book was everything and more and I know there is still some more “choosing” or lack of choosing to come once these boys get their heads out of their rears and realize they aren’t unlovable.
The balance between spice and world building/ world conflict was just perfect!!

Velmore is in for a big surprise when Raven becomes all she can be with her boys by her side.

Great potential

This is a debut fantasy novel and while it needs a really good edit/proof read, there’s a lot of potential. The characters are nice and distinct, the relationships develop fairly consistently, and the world building is good (if confusing - it’s a strange mix of modern things like jean, coffee makers and phones in a fantasy world with castles, dungeons and huts in a forest).

The story builds nicely and kept my attention. There’s plenty of unanswered questions and a significant cliffhanger at the end. I will definitely keep reading because I can’t leave characters in mortal peril.

Welll this book was just amazing!! It defintely finished me but i absolutely loved it!!!

I absolutely loved all the different characters and getting to know them all and i am so excited for book 2!! I will admit malrick and kieran are my fave😍

The world building was amazing!! I could picture it all as if i was there! Which is amazing as im a visual person😂💜

The smut scenes had me blushing like ive never blushed before😍

I think this is the book for you if you love character driven fantasy romance with emotional depth, unhinged and i mean unhinged characters (ahem Malrick😉) and world building that is so beautiful and magical you wish you were there🥰🥰

As someone who reads a lot of why choose romance, this one was not worth it.

First off, the writing style is very clunky. The sentences do not flow well together, and I usually can overlook that, but I found myself rereading lines again because it was not making sense.

The romance was kind of cringey. One man Malrik, she had two pretty short interactions with him in the book (and she doesn't previously know him) and he tells her "you either tell me who helped you, or I will put you over my knee and make your ass red raw before I fuck your throat without any relief for yourself." First, red raw? It seems like an editing error. Secondly, she has barely had any interactions with him so it feels just very forced.

Okay, Ravena is elite. I love how she keeps going even when she struggles to survive. She easily slides into a new life with the boys, even though her rational self is screaming to run away and be alone, as always, because that's what she knows. Instead, she chooses to protect others and care, even if it means she will be in danger and potentially lead to her death.

Ronan is so sweet and caring that it's like the bandaid she needs in her life. Kieran is tricky because he is self-sabotaging, and in a way that hurts her too, so I hope he wakes up right now, or he is going to fuck up the things between them.
Malrik is unknown. I think that in the next book we are going to know his character better, but at the moment he is protective of her and loyal, so I like him. And for last, Darian, I get that he was under the influence of something that messed his mind, but he was rude and hurtful. I really hope that the misunderstandings can be solved.

The tricky part of the book is her dying in his arms (my theory is that it's unlocking her powers or whatever she is), and that being what the king wants. I, for the clues in the book, think that is going to be something dark, and that could repel the boys, but I think that is going to resonate with Kieran and bind them more. We have to see.

⚔️ a heroine who keeps getting pulled deeper into fate, prophecy, and desire
📚 pacing that makes it really easy to binge
There were moments that grabbed me, others that didn’t land as deeply, but overall?
I was engaged. I had fun. And I’ll probably read book two because the setup has potential and I’m genuinely curious where the chaos is headed.
A good pick if you love:

✨ spice-forward fantasy worlds
✨ morally questionable men who absolutely need therapy
Not an obsession read for me, but definitely enjoyable.
