A Bridesmaid’s Guide to Double Crosses: An Emelia Walsh Cozy Mystery

Rate this book
💍Two sisters. 💍Two brides. 💍Two grooms. 💍One wedding. 💍And one case that never went away.

Emmy Walsh is used to fixing disasters. As a professional bridesmaid, she’s an emotional buffer and human fire extinguisher, paid to ensure the bride’s day is perfect. But at Aveline and Briar's double wedding, the tension between the two sisters is the least of her problems. When one sister vanishes hours after saying "I do," Emmy realizes this isn’t a case of a runaway bride. It’s a crime scene.

For Emmy, it’s a job that has gone terrifyingly wrong. For her boyfriend, Detective Sergeant John Sutton, it’s more personal. The disappearance mirrors the specific, chilling details of the only case he never solved—an event that still haunts him.

As the investigation tightens, Emmy stands beside him—not as a distraction, not as an outsider, but as someone who understands exactly what this case cost him. And what it could still take.

I enjoyed this one a lot. I recommend reading the series in order to understand the over arching plot. There were reoccurring characters and references back to situations or conversations in past books. I can’t wait to read the next one!

Also, if anyone else has read it please chime in. Do you think the “bad guy” acted alone? Because I am suspicious. Maybe there will be more explained in book 4.

I love this series

Each book in this series just keeps getting better. The mystery is well written and the romance is sweet and swoony. I can’t wait for the next book.
