At their first meeting, Hulk realizes a couple of things. One, these two women have had things rough and survived. Two, there was no way Celeste, Capri’s aunt, would allow anyone to take over the search for the culprit. And third, Hulk has never been so taken with a woman in his life.
Celeste, at nineteen, took over raising her niece when her brother and his wife were lost. They struggled, yet they persevered. Celeste’s day job as a court reporter has made her jaded. She’s seen too many people get off when they shouldn’t have. And seen victims treated like they were the criminals. She’s not allowing that to happen to her niece. She’ll find the one who hurt Capri and deal with him herself. Anyone thinking she doesn’t have the guts to do it will discover they’re dead wrong.
Hulk and Celeste agree to work together. And the journey isn’t easy. They don’t know who hurt Capri. Or if her supposed friend, Vanessa, had anything to do with what happened. More and more questions arise. Where is Vanessa? Is Capri’s attacker lurking in the shadows, waiting for a chance to get his hands on her again? How will Hulk and Celeste navigate bringing two strong souls together? It’ll take the whole club to protect the women and bring the attacker to justice, Pagan Style. However, one thing is certain in the end.

Boring, dragged on and on and I didn’t like either of the mc’s.
I’m beginning to think I should give up on this authors books, sadly. There’s just too many things wrong with this one. The first thing is the cover picture doesn’t match Hulk’s description at all. The book is 312 pages long yet both Celeste and Hulk seem like cardboard cut outs. A lot of the conversations are written about in the past tense and there are hardly any actual conversations. I wanted to be able to catch up with the Mc brothers and their wives, but it talks about nights at the clubhouse in the past tense and it’s so annoying!
The first 20% of the book is about them individually and to be honest I wasn’t keen on either of them, especially Celeste. She’s just so angry and bitter about everything. She hates her job as a court reporter and has really violent fantasies about the criminals in the court room, she has no friends and no life. She brought up her neice Capri when her brother and sister in law died, when Capri was 9. When Capri is drugged and assaulted and the club heard about it, they’re determined to bring her assailant to justice. Hulk and Capri are soon in a relationship having endless mind numbing s*x, but I didn’t feel any chemistry with them at all. The s*x scenes in this book are absolutely laughable. As Hulk is so well endowed that even the bunnies couldn’t take all of him, yet Celeste manages it and he likes really rough s*x. 😭😭😭 OWWW!!! There’s no way that that’s possible! She would be in agony!
One last thing and I’ll shut up. At the beginning of the book Celeste sees Hulk riding his bike and starts having endless sexual fantasies about him and. It’s weird! Then when they meet and she stays at his house for the first time she thinks she won’t get any sleep because she’ll be too turned on being in his house! WTAF? Is she a nymphomaniac that can’t possibly go to sleep without reliving herself?? She needs to get a grip! Sorry.

What made this one so interesting was how the club stepped in and helped Celeste and Capri with their problem, despite only have a very thin connection. It was fun to see Celeste and Capri get to know the club and realize all the good aspects to it. Also fun was seeing Celeste and Hulk's romance. I loved how this one ended, loved seeing the problem get taken care of, seeing Celeste and Capri being included when things went down and how they all celebrated after with both holidays.

This was an amazing story. I love these characters. There are a few twists I didn’t see coming. There are parts that I skimmed as they were too heavy for me. But it made no difference. I understood what was going on. I love this series!

Book 7 in the Pagan Souls of Cherokee follows their enforcer Hulk. He enjoys the life he has with the club, even if he was hesitant at joining first.
Celeste on the other hand hasn't always had it easy. At a young age she found herself the guardian of her niece after Capri's parents passed. They make do with what they have and are happy with the lives they lead.
That is until one party changes everything for them. Capri finds herself violated in the worst ways- with her attacker escaping. Celeste is determined to find the guy and make him pay, because as a court reporter she's seen that the guilty parties don't always pay. It also doesn't help that the police assigned to her niece's case aren't ones known for getting the job done (or done right).
Word gets back to the Pagans about someone being harmed in their city and they aren't about to let this person go. They let Capri and Celeste know that they're not about to let this guy escape scot free.
When Celeste and Hulk meet sparks fly- it also helps that Celeste has been dreaming about the mystery man she saw and it happens to be Hulk. They both have a thirst for vengeance and are ready to help Capri heal. Both Hulk and Celeste grow closer, unable to deny their mutual attraction any longer. They navigate their new relationship and finding a HEA while also helping Capri heal from her trauma.

Book seven in the Pagan Souls of Cherokee MC series. Hulk loves his life. His club gave him a reason. When the club hear about a girl who was harm in their club. They are in a mission to take them down. Celeste is guardian for capri. She lives for her. when she finds out she’s hurt. She will do anything to find the men that hurt her. Celeste is an amazing woman who know what she wants. She’s not afraid to say it out loud. The first time she sees Hulks she’s intrigued. He’s tall big and handsome. she gets butterflies and gets all warm all around. She guess she like his girl quite and shy. She never imagined a man y like him would even look at her with warm. She’s quite the firecracker. I love her, she’s so sassy and she protects her love ones. amazing add on to this epic series.

January 20, 2026I am such a fan of Ciara St. James! Every book is better than the last. I have greatly anticipated Hulk's book. Hulk to me was one who really yearned for an old lady of his own, and Celeste complemented him beautifully. Hulk stayed true to himself and he showed up for his old lady and her family. It seems like in every one of these books, someone experiences some kind of trauma, which brings in the hero to save the day.
Celeste never would have reached out for help, but it's such a blessing for the support they ultimately received. So for me a Five star was a given because this book exceeded my expectations and I would read this book again. So thanks again for an amazing couple which only makes me excited for the next installment

Hulk and Celeste's story was absolutely enthralling! I hated to tear myself away so I ignored all adult responsibilities. Thank goodness my kids are old enough to fend for themselves. Celeste's niece goes through something horrible and the cops don't seem to want to help. Someone knows something and she is going to find the truth no matter the cost. Hulk and the guys hear what happened and want to help. That is how this incredible couple meet. What follows is an incredibly amazing couple finding their way to a happy ever after! Fantastic!

Celeste and Capri had been on their own for many years with no family and weren't used to having help from anyone. The Pagan Souls heard that an innocent had been hurt and jumped into help. Celeste never knew how her and Capri's lives were about to change and get a big family out of it. Hulk never realized that helping these two he would find his Troublemaker. Celeste and Capri fit right into this crazy fun loving family. This book covers some sensitive topics, but it's a wonderful read.

Such a good book. Trigger warning for some. Rape and revenge violence is mentioned in this book. The MFCs sister was assaulted at a party, and she vows to find the person responsible and anyone that helped and do whatever she has to since the police are no help.
The MMC is in the Pagan Souls MC and they offered to help. Hulk was immediately attracted to his troublemaker, and sparks flew.

We get to visit with our favorite characters and enjoy the holiday with Pagan family. This book has it all and Hulk never disappoints. Big man gets the girls
This was another phenomenal read in the series. Hulk has always been a favorite character. To him family means everything since he didn’t have a good one growing up. Strong female characters once again in this one. Hulk and the rest of the MC didn’t disappoint in their justice.

Absolutely amazing story!
I don't know how Ciara keeps coming up with such amazingly ideas for each book. Every time a new book of her's comes out I rush to get it and like this one, I can't put it down until I reach the happily ever after ending. Hulk and Celeste are made for each other; they are an insta-love couple. Read this book you will love it!

Loved it!!
This is a great book. Thoroughly enjoyed it. If you have never read Ciara St James you need too. She is a wonderful story teller. Check her out. I think the first book of many is Terror's Temptation. Could be wrong but they are all awesome.

I liked it, I did. However, some of the descriptions of Hulk and his "talents"...I would like data please. I do not think so ma'am...that is highly unrealistic. Also, the description of Hulk per the author...does not match the lovely cover model. Sorry.

Out of the ashes
It took a horrific occurrence to bring Celeste into Hulks world. The attraction was there from the beginning but it took them a few days before they admitted their interest, the rest was history. Some action in here, but plenty of loving.

Another book that surpassed my expectations! I’ve been waiting patiently for Hulks book. I knew him being a big enforcer he was going to be a gooey marshmallow once he found his old lady. Celeste is the perfect balance for him. Can’t wait for next book.

Perfect match!
I knew coming into this book that it would take a special woman to tame our Hulk, and I was absolutely correct.
