Hoag stricks again. When a detective suspects that death by suicide is not the right decision, he doesn't let go. Another doubtful 'suicide' doesn't make sense and it raised questions in the department - why keep investigating suicides? The suspense doesn't ease up and both Kovac and Liska are at risk - of losing jobs, yes, but also their lives.

Taut and kept me guessing

Excellent story! This was exciting to the very end. I really felt Kovacs pain which suggests the strength of the writing. Hoag is a terrific storyteller
