His Polaris

Elio
When I picked up a contract from the Irish mob, I had one job to do. Bring back the boss’s daughter. Simple. Or at least it should have been, but then I met her. A tiny redhead with a fiery personality. She should have been scared. When a man with a reputation as dark as mine takes you, most people would be scared. But not her. She sassed me and acted like it was just another day. She was unaware of her critical error that day—she intrigued me.

Stella
When a stranger leaves me a life-changing amount of money in her will, I’m ready to kiss my days of living paycheck to paycheck goodbye. I quit my unfulfilling, low-paying job. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize there was a waiting period before I would get the money, and when my house caught fire, I was in real trouble. While trying to decide how I’m going to afford to stay at a low-end hotel, a dark, mysterious stranger abducts my grumpy cat and me. He thinks I’m someone else, and doesn't believe me when I tell him I'm not her, so I decide to play along. Besides, he wouldn’t have brought my cat if he was going to hurt me, right?

His Polaris is a mafia romance featuring a morally gray hero and a sassy heroine who go on a cross-country road trip filled with unexpected humor and fall in love along the way. These characters are unhinged in their own unique ways and don’t behave like ordinary people.

This was a very cute read. I loved the banter b/t the two main characters and the storyline as far as the cat because I’m a huge cat lover myself. This story wasn’t your typical dark mafia romance and I think that’s what intrigued me the most about it… the only thing I would change is I wish it was longer, I was pretty sad when I got to the end lol

His Polaris is a book about two people who normal would not have met who meet under unusual circumstances.   Both individuals were just surviving before they met, but together are learning to thrive.
I love that this book is very original in how the two meet and the circumstances.   It involves a cross country road trip and one bed tropes.  There is comedy, dark undertones, touch her and die themes, spice and an MMC who is tender mainly towards the FMC.
I truly enjoyed Stella and Elio's love story.  And hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did!  I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my review.

Such an easy read, the story flowed great, the spice was fabulous, and the bond they formed was everything! I highly recommend for any of my dark romance kidnapping girlies!!!

Our girl was struggling in life when she unexpectedly got mail from a law office for an inheritance that she had no clue who could have left, when she gets back from meeting with them her life goes a bit more down hill just before she is kidnapped, our girl is just along for the ride at this point because she has nothing to her name until this inheritance hits, but while traveling with her kidnapper they began to bond…

This was such a great read! While "cute" isn't usually the first word I think when I'm thinking of mafia romance, Savanna made it happen, and it really worked. I loved all of the characters, but Stella's cat, Brownie, was the star of the show. The plot was entertaining and I really enjoyed seeing the relationship grow.

I think this is the perfect book for anyone looking to start reading mafia romance. There is a clear sense of danger without being overly dark.

What a great read!

Stella is in Las Vegas working at a casino she’s a bit out of sorts especially financially. She receives notices though about potential money left to her —who’s it from? Is it a scam?

Elio a contract worker for a mafia type boss has been given the task to bring Stella to NYC to see her father, only caveat is she doesn’t know this man to be her father !

Kidnapping, a road trip, humorous banter and some spicy scenes along the way. This was a fun ride fast paced and definitely kept my interest. Finally an FMC that didn’t come off bratty I’ve see that a lot in mafia type stories and she wasn’t that at all!

Thanks to the author for the ARC

This book was so fun! It’s fast paced and I didn’t want to put it down. The dynamic between Stella and Elio is perfect. Their banter is cute and their passion is hot. And…Brownie. Need I say more? This is mafia-lite. So if you’re looking for something dark, this isn’t it. But if you’re looking for funny, sweet, and sexy with a side of murder, this is for you. Can’t wait for more books in this universe!

I never thought I’d be this attracted to a kidnapper, but apparently all it takes is him thinking to bring my cat along on the kidnapping adventure. 😂

Elio is dark, dangerous, and absolutely lethal… but when it comes to Stella? He’s basically a giant marshmallow, and I am OBSESSED. The contrast between his terrifying exterior and the way he is with her had me completely hooked.

5 ⭐️ read! I devoured this book and already need book 2 immediately. I cannot wait to see what comes next !..

I'm not sure I've ever smiled this much during a mafia romance book before (like even during a murder...who am I??)

Elio and Stella are everything! I'm absolutely obsessed with them and could've read hundreds of more pages of just them being adorable. Of course I also loved Brownie, our little hellion kitty 😍

I'd love to see a book about Alek and his story someday too🤞🏻🤞🏻

This book started out on the level of ok and then very quickly just had my heart! Their love story just makes my heart happy. This story held all the elements of a decent book; plenty to keep one entertained while reading. All the good feels.

He is a hitman hired to find the Mafia princess that ran off. Elio finds Stella in Las Vegas and they road trip it back to New York to her "Father" who she's never met. Once they arrive there's a hiccup that neither Elio or Stella sees coming and the whole plan has to change!

Ngl this was kinda boring. Nothing really happened until the end but even that wasn’t very exciting or make any sense. The book wasn’t bad but I was expecting more.

This was such a fun read. A case of mistaken identity. A handsome morally gray hero. A road trip across the United States. What more could you ask for.

I had no idea going into the book how much fun it would be! I finished it in less than two days. I can't wait for more installments. (if there are any!)

Also Brownie might just be my favorite cat ever!

His Polaris is my favorite Savanna Golden book yet!
Mafia romance is not normally my genre but when I read the blurb I immediately said lets go!
She set the bar high for all other mafia romance books for me.
I love how the characters came together, he thinks she is someone else and after hitting rock bottom with nowhere else to go, Stella goes along for the ride. Their chemistry is there from the start, they are meant to be from that first bite of pizza! Give me all the cross country road trips where no one wants it to end and there is only one bed at the motel.
I loved the action and suspense as much as the romance and spice! And cat, Brownie, was the best! I pictured the whole book as a movie, can someone please turn it into a movie?
