I got this book as an ARC and I absolutely loved this book. I finished it in just four days, which is honestly a big achievement for me because I usually take much longer to complete a book and finishing it in less than a week says everything about how gripping it was.

The starting chapters where we had the wedding part gave me major Varun Dhawan vibes that are cute, fun, charming, filmy energy he has in his rom com movies. The male lead Rivaan felt exactly like that and I was already sold because I love that kind of character. And watching him slowly grow into a more mature version after taking responsibility for Lehar was something I truly adored.

The chemistry, the fake deal, the contract everything just worked so well. What I loved most was how the contract was meant to be a fake relationship yet it included so many things that real relationships have and that made it even more beautiful to read. I was giggling almost the entire time.

I won’t give any spoilers because this book deserves to be experienced properly but I’ll just say that I loved them so much that I wish I could live in their universe again.

This is a much needed desi romance, especially if you enjoy clean romance. There’s no unnecessary scenes just cute banter, cozy moments and pure romcom joy.
