Born in New York City, I attended Boston University and the University of Exeter in England. Being an avid reader, the first genre that influenced me was true crime stories and thrillers. Being a sales representative and driving much of the day, I turned to AUdio books and mainstream fiction, which created a challenge to create stories with identifiable characters and unexpected twists, all in a setting which we can relate to, My interst in food and travel also run throught my stories. The stories within the trilogy are interwoven with recurring characters and the stories contain currentthemes which tocuh all of us in some ways
I received this book as a First Reads win. Prior to this book I had never read a David Tanz book. I immediately loved the writing. It was easy to imagine the characters and the setting. Wonderful description of methods the detectives used to investigate also. The story left me guessing up until the very end! The only thing I felt was lacking was an explanation as to how the two involved in the murder found each other. Aka how did the nanny find McKay.
