Enjoyable read, but a little confusing
The book did a great job starting off in a state of action, getting right into the story and holding my interest. The chemistry built quickly, but was believable.
However, it was pretty confusing on the points of the war, and what each side was doing/wanted/stood for.
I gathered that one side was imprisoning omegas, and the other was controlling them with suppressants...maybe? But the cause of the ongoing conflict and the motivation for the two sides wanting war was unclear. Just two intro chapters where each country was introduced and each culture was shown while showing the roles/backgrounds/motivations of the primary (and secondary) characters would have gone a long way. Without that it was hard to understand what each side wanted and why anyone would accept having a vulnerable princess guarded only by an enemy warrior/officer during a negotiation.
Also, the cover is really cool looking! Gorgeous art! That said, I get that femmes are considered more marketable or whatever, but I'd kill for a cover that nice that actually depicted masc of center female characters the way they're described in the actual book. Like, the target audience here is sapphics right? Most of us probably won't balk at a female character depicted with (gasp) *short hair*. The first character description in the book is of the alpha main character with her height, broad shoulders, muscles, and close cropped hair, yet the cover, as is typical in books like this, depicts a slender figure with long flowing locks relatively the same dimensions/body type as the equally slender omega character.
At least she wasn't wearing boob armor.

OK - seems like ALL the hyphens are missing from the book. Took me a chapter or so to realize that may be the case and the reading seemed a bit easier after. I liked the story though. Always have a soft spot for knights and princesses. Add in the omegaverse and some politics / court intrigue, and I almost forgave all the bad editing and the endless questions I have about the plot. I like to enjoy books for what they are meant to say - and this one is quite satisfying. 5 stars minus 1 for everything else that is not perfect. Oh and for anybody who's wondering, there is indeed G!P. Spice is open door but restrained. More to convey the biological pull and tenderness toward each other. I probably will go onto book 2 although the premise of that one seems contrary to this story. Will write a review once I finish that one.

cute revolutionary novella
Some details were scarce but it’s to be expected in a novella and the story itself felt full. It was a sweet quick read and everything I was looking for when I picked it.

Wow the author was really able to grow the relationship quite well in such a short story. Lots of spice. Love the enemies to fates mates story.

The poor grammar ruined this for me. I have to wonder, do these authors have anyone read them before publishing? It's just disappointing and frustrating.
