Noa Jade thought she could balance two worlds—the steady rise of her tech dreams and the intoxicating love she found in Aldo Ferraro. But loving Aldo means living under the shadow of his empire, where loyalty is currency and betrayal is paid for in blood.
As Aldo’s war with his enemies reaches a breaking point, Noa is pulled deeper into a life she swore she’d never live. Every secret Aldo keeps to protect her only widens the space between them, testing the trust that once held them together. Friends turn into rivals, alliances shatter, and violence closes in on all sides, leaving Noa questioning if love is enough to survive the ruin that follows Aldo everywhere he goes.
But even in the chaos, Aldo refuses to let her go. For him, Noa is not just love—she’s salvation. And as the world they’ve built threatens to crumble, one truth becomes they’ll either weather the storm together or be destroyed by it.
This one started off sad, like that quiet kind of heavy that just sits in your chest. You feel it right away, and it sets the tone for everything that follows. The suspense builds slowly but steadily, and before you know it, you’re locked in and emotionally invested again.
Aldo and Noa still have my heart. Their love feels real, deep, and earned. Not perfect or easy, just two people holding on to each other through everything crashing around them. That’s what makes it hit so hard.
Now… the parents. Because whew. The father is still unbearable, but the mother is right there with him. The ignorance, the racism, the entitlement. It’s frustrating to read, and so easy to despise them. The way is written is clearly you are supposed to feel that anger, and I definitely did.
Overall, this was an emotional, tense continuation that keeps pulling you deeper into the story. It’s messy, it’s heavy, and it makes you feel things. I’m locked in and ready for what’s next. Can’t wait for part 3!
And baby it was so worth it. Aldo and Noa pick up where we left off in Bloom. Still very much in love and saying F the haters. And them haters are front and center and birthed Aldo. In Bloom they got on my nerves but in Ruin I want to run them over with a Mack truck. They both are so insufferable it’s sickening.
All the antics from Bloom are continued in Ruin, with Noa being pulled into a life she thought she’ll never be apart of. There’s secrets, violence and betrayal and I cannot wait for book 3!!
Let me tell you… I have been in mourning since the beginning of Book 1 and was broken-hearted through this one. I loved seeing the struggles that Noa and Aldo experienced within their relationship and the sacrifices that each was willing to make for their love. I stayed stressed and engaged from the beginning to the end (in a good way). I loved seeing how the characters were developed and how the story has been progressing. I can’t wait to see how everything continues in the next part. Bravo! And thanks again to Grand Lenz Publishing for the advanced notice!
This book stressed me out in the most disrespectful way. Sad from page one, suspense on 100, and my emotions were absolutely not consulted. Aldo and Noa? Still got me weak, still fighting for love while chaos does parkour around them. The parents though… TRASH. Both of them. I wanted to jump in the book and argue. Messy, heavy, and rude as hell in the best way. I’m mad, I’m invested, and yes, I’ll be back for part 3
Things get messy, I mean messy. Their is love, betrayal, confusion and bloodshed. This story isn't what I expected. It was much more cant wait to see what part three has in store.
This book was messy, had love, betrayal, bloodshed. Aldo and Noa continue their fight from book 1 to be together. It is a slow burn which is a good thing because it builds up the drama and suspense
