Cuuuute!

Who would have thought this little series of novellas would end in such a wholesome way after the kinda weird first one?! Not me, that’s for sure!

I still wanted to understand more of Taylor’s background and why he acted the way he acted throughout the books. Maybe as a bonus story, Ms Spencer? 😇

I suppose these work best if you read them back to back, maybe I’ll do that one day on a reread!
Overall though, I really enjoyed this one and it worked great as a palate cleanser 🥰

I am so, so glad that we finally got a full story for Archie and Taylor, I just wish it had been longer!

I didn't want their story to end, and I just wanted to keep seeing what they would do next. It wasn't until the very end of this book that they finally admitted they had feelings for each other and wanted to be in a relationship, so I was hopign we'd get more of them actually together.

Taylor's motivations for hiding how he feels still don't make much sense to me, but also the whole story is from Archie's POV so unless it's something Taylor says or does, we don't get much glimpse into who he is. I wanted to know more about Taylor's family issues, his plans for the future, his genuine feelings towards Archie and their relationship...

Enjoyable story but I wanted more!

“This bed is shit. This room is shit. You know that.” In the gloom, Taylor looked almost threatening, as he loomed over me. Then, softly, he said, “were you really jealous?”
“Obviously,” I said dryly. Then, because he was staring at me so intensely, it made me feel flustered, I said, “well you were jealous too.”
“Yeah. Because you belong to me.”
I laughed, but it quickly died when I realised Taylor wasn’t joking.
“Yeah, well, you belong to me too.” I tried to sound confident and macho. I worried that it came out weak.

omg this was so addicting?? this made me feel ALL THE FEEELS. i know this went from a standalone to a trilogy, but i could honestly read more about Archie and Taylor’s dynamic and banters. even the lil domestic moments, i loved those scenes. the jealousy!! the obsession. the yearning. the fights. the cute lil moments. i loved it all here. 😩😭

i would have loved to read Taylor’s pov, even just one chapter, but i do think, overall, we still get a pretty good glimpse of how he feels through Archie’s eyes. i’m just greedy when it comes to wanting his full perspective on Archie. 🫠

THIS NOVELLA TRIOLOGY GOT BETTER AND BETTER!!! I wasn’t fully invested with the first novella but by the second one…YUPPPP. Super delightful, so entertaining. And it has my favorite Milana trope…pining!!! She does pining so spectacularly well, I just eat it up every time. Also it was funny how I went from not even caring about Taylor, the love interest, in the first novella and then by the second one I’m like oh. I’m gonna miss him so much when I’m done reading these books. He was like a cardboard cutout in the first one so I couldn’t get invested. But everything is improved upon with the second installment (including Taylor’s characterization!!!) What a great time I had. Fun fun fun. 🥰❤️

This is the third, and final, volume in a trilogy of novellas, all about the same couple - Australian university students, on the first year, and to the dismay of your PoV character he is stuck being roommates with his high school rival who he is certain hates him. But it is oh so clear to the reader, if not the character, how in love his mean sarcastic roommate is with him. I love that element, the hidden love. And these guys are so sweet and after they started out with dares and challenges and moved on to sex, it is finally time for them to talk about feelings and actually admit things to one another (or in Archie's case, to himself). They got a HEA here - it seems a bit extreme to call it a forever HEA since they are 18 and on the first year of uni, but they do seem so solid and loving already.

The whole series is one long story, continuous, a sex to love arc (from one side, from the other is love to love through sex...), one of those MCs who is being loved and courted and unware of it. Real rating tor the series is 4.5, I am rounding down this last volume maybe because I thought the ending was a bit abrupt - I am not demanding a blow by blow exam of all past interactiosn and all, but it still felt a bit rushed.

I was on the edge of my seat! This series was great and so addictive. But the second they finally settled things, the book ended. I wanted more time with them after admitting their feelings and a retrospective about what was going through Taylor’s mind with the rivalry, the photos, etc. I mean, it’s mostly self-explanatory, but I wanted to hear HIM explain it.

Did I wake up extra early so I could finish these? YES. They were hilarious and infuriating and cute and hot 😮‍💨🔥🙌🏻 Book one is a little weird with the initial competition but you roll with it and it gives you a cliffhanger. So you jump into book two which is giving all the yearning vibes....and slaps you with THAT cliffhanger. So of course you MUST read book three for these two lovable idiots to FINALLY figure their shit out and get their HEA!!! Archie and Taylor are hilarious and infuriating and cute and dumb and hot and I enjoyed these novellas so much!! Definitely recommend the trilogy if you need some feel good vibes 🙌🏻🙌🏻

“I’m going.”
The corner of his lip curled slightly. “I can’t let someone steal you away.”
I spluttered. “Do you think I’m that easy?”
“No,” he said. At my expression he repeated it with more force. “No. I remember how much work I had to do to get you into bed.”

Love Archie and Taylor. The trajectory to happily ever after wasn't always the most smooth but they worked it all out in the end…

I loved this series. I need more of their story. After college where Taylor proposes to Archie perhaps?
