A fun new entry to the haunted house story genre, from the perspective of an estate agent tasked with letting one. The insatiable hunger, the conniving. I'm not sure we see the perspective of the middle man between the victim and the eldritch horror; it's well rendered here.
This was a strange little story of how the minions of evil work in real estate (that would be the titular "Agency"), hoping against hope that they don't get eaten along the way.
I liked it, sort of. Honestly, I think I just have a bias against protagonists that make poor decisions. The mechanical functioning of the bureaucracy behind the entities that do the haunting is kind of interesting --- spooky power that needs its blood tax --- but beyond that I didn't enjoy much.
